Brunswick Bagels and Deli — Restaurant in East Brunswick Township

Although hours say they open at 6am on Sundays (as per Google and the front door), they kept the outer door locked far past 6:15. Inside door was wide open as usual. It actually would be okay if they told us, but they looked at the young girl next to me dressed in scrubs and ignored her as we stood outside. Then they ignored our phone calls. When you call you can hear the phone ringing from the front door outside. We only wanted to know what time they would open. I thought the eye contact ignore was pretty rude. They could have even mouthed, "not open". I personally never had an issue with food here, but that experience didn't feel too great. There were plenty of people coming and going. Ordered a dozen bagels yesterday and indicated everything but NO blueberry or raisin. I look in the bag and there were only blueberry and raisin. I told the guy behind the counter again NO blueberry or raisin but add everything else. He angrily throws the bagels in a box, then proceeds to give me 4 plain and 3-4 sesame. Again, I said add EVERYTHING. He again angrily threw some of the bagels in a box and grabbed a few others to mix in the bag as he proceeded to argue with me with his snotty attitude. I get home and open the bag to find 11 bagels. Newsflash, you’re not creating cancer drugs at Penn, you’re serving bagels which clearly you can’t even do properly. Food is okay. They can't provide a receipt. The printer is broken and it can't be used for anything. You'll be lucky if you can read anything from it. Please fix the printer or replace it. It's a business expense!

The food is ok. It's nothing special. I'd have to say that the experience of dining in or taking out is not very desirable. You pay, get a ticket and they call your number (softly).

They should bring your food to the table (dine in) or call your name when you take out. This level of personalization would distinguish them from other bagel/breakfast places.

By the way, they have signs telling you that eggs will cost you more. It never feels good to pay more. They should reprint the menu with the higher prices or go back to their...
