Five Guys — Restaurant in East Brunswick Township

Pretty decent 5 Guys location.

They tend to be on the slow side here and the parking situation is a bit of pain because this location is next to Starbucks and they have this drive thru which is ridiculous in terms of how they designed it.

Getting back to the food. Fries as always are amazing here. Milkshakes are very good. In regards to the burger itself. They are very generous with toppings and the selection available. For some reason 5 Guy's weakness has been the bun. Always for some reason it's thin and gets soggy easily. Not sure if that is an appeal to some people but I'm not a fan of it. Can't fault this specific location only because it's across the board at most locations.

Service is pleasant but today the girl working the counter was a bit unfriendly. She was even making faces when a customer had to change his order. They are very clean here, even wiping and hosing the entrance area outside.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor tables and seating. Convient location just off local state highway.

Bright spot at this location are the people preparing the food. The guy that's operating the fryer and grill has a great attitude and attention to detail ! He made some fresh fried for me and I didn't even request it. Don't see that all the time !

Final Verdict:...

Initial order came wrong so when I asked of what they can do, the worker who claimed to be a manager said they'll remake the order. I went in for the remake and turns out the person I was talking to wasn't a manager and nothing was noted. After a bit of argument and fact check, they found out what happened and remade the order. While that was happening the attitude the worker, David, gave me was very poor, making smerk comments and intentionally yawning frequently. The redo came wrong again. Didn't bother to call back after the the wrong remake and was not up for another attitude.

Place was not crowded so if you eat at the restaurant, you can probably ask to remake on the spot, but if you are doing pick ups like I did, expect the order to be made wrong 3 out of 5 times... at least that's my experience in the past 3 months. At least they remake the orders for you if you...

I want to start off by saying I would give them 6 stars if I could.

I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger and Cajun Fries. That Bacon Cheeseburger was absolutely delectable. The Bacon was crispy. the patty was juicy, and the sauces were fantastic. Here are my go-to toppings if you want help deciding: Mayo, Ketchup, A1 Sauce, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Jalapeños, Green Peppers, Grilled Mushrooms, and Grilled Onions. Their Fries are very filling and their seasoning is fantastic, though they aren't crispy if that's what you're expecting.

The employees are always friendly and helpful and the food is consistently great. I always tip the employees because they go the extra mile when preparing your food. I've eaten burgers that cost 2 to 3 times as much that I'd take Five Guys over. Five Guys isn't cheap, but it's 1000%...
