The Niantic Boardwalk was a sight to behold as the night sky came alive with a dazzling display of fireworks. Colors exploded in every direction, painting the darkness with vibrant hues of red, blue, and gold. The crackling sounds echoed along the waterfront, adding a symphony of pops and booms to the visual spectacle.

Families and friends gathered along the boardwalk, their faces illuminated by the radiant bursts of light. Cheers of excitement and awe filled the air as each firework shot up into the sky, dancing and twirling before gracefully descending back down. It was a magical moment, a celebration of joy and unity.

As the fireworks soared higher and higher, they seemed to compete with the stars themselves, creating a celestial performance that captivated everyone's attention. Each explosion brought forth a unique design, from cascading sparks to sparkling trails that lingered in the air. The display was meticulously choreographed, with perfectly timed bursts that left the audience in awe.

Children pointed their fingers and exclaimed with delight, their eyes wide with wonder. Couples held hands and shared a tender embrace, basking in the beauty of the moment. Strangers became friends as they exchanged smiles and nodded in appreciation of the breathtaking display.

The fireworks continued to paint the night sky, forming intricate patterns and illuminating the water below. Their reflections shimmered on the surface, creating a mesmerizing mirror image that only added to the enchantment of the evening.

As the grand finale approached, anticipation hung in the air. A series of colossal explosions filled the sky, creating a crescendo of light and sound that brought a collective gasp from the crowd. It was a moment of pure exhilaration, a culmination of the evening's festivities.

And as the last firework faded away, leaving behind a trail of smoke, the crowd erupted into applause. The Niantic Boardwalk had become a canvas for an unforgettable fireworks display, leaving everyone in awe of the magic and beauty that could be created with just a few explosives and a darkened sky.

People slowly dispersed, their hearts full of joy and memories that would last a lifetime. As they walked away, they carried with them the enchantment of the fireworks at Niantic Boardwalk, a reminder of the power of celebration and the beauty that can be found in the...

I have seen this beach on my train rides from Boston to New York City. It is on the southern end of the train tracks right after passing the New London Station. On the eastern end of the beach is a power station, possibly nuclear, on the right is housing and a small park jutting out.

The view is spectacular, and for the first time I was able to wander about the Niantic Boardwalk. It consists of about a mile long walk on concrete pathway. The boardwalk looks very clean, and some sandy beach area is accessible, along with a very solid rocky area. The rocky area is good for some rockhopping, but I advise caution when traversing this area.

Parking is available on the other side of the boardwalk, and you'll have to cross under a tunnel under the train tracks to access it. I highly recommend this boardwalk park for train nerds, because it is a great place to see the AMTRAK and commuter rail trains moving by.

When I went, at the beginning of February, parking was free. However, it seems like it is going to be expensive for those traveling in the summer. I recommend doing a little bit of research before you go to make sure that you are spending your money wisely.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable run, and workout. And I will be coming back here again to enjoy the little jewels that the Niantic...

Niantic Bay Boardwalk is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve visited in Connecticut, and it absolutely deserves a 5-star rating. Stretching along the coastline with stunning views of Long Island Sound, this boardwalk is perfect for walking, jogging, or simply enjoying the fresh ocean breeze. The path is wide, clean, and well-maintained, with benches placed at just the right spots to sit and soak in the scenery. We visited as a family and loved how kid-friendly the area was, with calm surroundings and easy access to both Cini Park and Hole-in-the-Wall Beach. Parking was free and conveniently located, and the downtown area nearby had great options for food, ice cream, and local shops, all within walking distance. Whether you’re looking for a scenic morning walk, a romantic sunset, or a peaceful place to unwind with your loved ones, Niantic Bay Boardwalk truly offers a perfect experience. This hidden gem combines natural beauty with community charm, making it a must-visit destination on the...

Niantic Bay Boardwalk stretches 6000 feet from Niantic Bay Beach to Hole-in-the-Wall Beach. Fun yellow seashell location markers installed by Eagle Scout Joshua Miller of Troop 240 indicate how far a walker has traveled along the boardwalk and provide information for emergency services should something go amiss. Besides this excellent signage, the boardwalk boasts plenty of informational signs about the history and ecology of the area. As an added bonus, trains regularly run down the railroad tracks beside the boardwalk and cross the drawbridge on the Niantic Bay Beach end of the path. This boardwalk is free to use; let the person in the booth know that you are using the boardwalk, not going to the beach.
