Grace — Local services in East Lyme

Shopping for clothes typically stresses me out. I feel like I don't have a great fashion sense :-/ and tend to do a lot of online shopping, which feels less overwhelming for some reason. However, after discovering Grace about a year ago, this all changed. First off, the shop itself is extremely well organized and put together. They offer a fabulous mix of styles ... the trendy pieces are well-balanced against classics. What really got me hooked on this boutique, however, was the customer service. I've dealt with several different women now and they just couldn't be more kind and helpful. On pretty much every visit, I've asked an associate to help me find pieces that would look nice on me ... and I have never been steered in the wrong direction! During my most recent visit to Grace, my husband joined me. He spotted a pair of overalls that he thought would look cute on me. Me ... again, having very little fashion sense and being the person who shies away from anything too daring, was like, "heck no!" That's when Hailey intervened! She took out her phone and showed me several photos of her wearing overalls and explained how to create different looks with them. OMG. This was so incredibly helpful for me! I ended up trying on 3 pairs ... and going home with 2 of them! (Actually, I'm wearing one of the pairs while writing this review.) Before leaving I made sure to get Hailey's regular schedule so she could be in charge of dressing me moving forward! Lol! One other thing I want to mention is Grace has a very good points loyalty program. Every purchase earns you points toward getting a future discount (and you can track your points online). I can go on for days about how fantastic this shop is but I'll cut myself off here. Love Local shops. Have come in many times and each experience is different. Nice selection of clothes on the pricey side but the quality is good. So you get what you pay for. Everytime you browse someone that works there always asks if you need help and will start a dressing room . Two floors of goodies and clothes. The clothes are cute but I have a problem with material being scratchy on my skin so not all items work for me. Sometimes the frustrating thing is you can't always find your size. Especially small. Grace is a fabulous place to find something for yourself or for someone else. The customer service is above and beyond regardless of how you show up. I have come after work, dressed to the nines or in my flip flops. The ladies at Grace treat me the same regardless and offer kind advice for me or that gift I want to find.
