Update!! A huge thank you to Sift for taking me up on my suggestion to add ADA accessible tables and chairs to the patio! Cheers to you for putting your customers first! Happy to have Sift in Niantic! Be ready to feast your eyes on so many amazing, culinary delights, each a work of art, as soon as you walk through the door. We got the almond croissant bulging with almond crème and big enough for two, the ham and cheese croissant, and the filled peanut butter cookie. The almond croissant was buttery from start to finish. The peanut butter filled cookie was a double treat, and we got a mushroom quiche to go! Prices for all that culinary extravagance were very reasonable. The entrance is accessible for a walker or wheelchair from the parking lot on Grand Street. There are handicap spaces available with a ramp up to the sidewalk. Then there’s a low metal threshold when you open the door. The inside is tight – one way in and one way out. I would suggest one table with chairs be replaced outside that is ADA accessible. We enjoyed having lunch outside on the patio with that gorgeous view. Looking forward to...
Read moreFirst time in, I was greeted so warmly, which, tbh, was a little surprising bc this place is so...posh(I've never used that word before, but it's apt) and, warm, but with a very clean feeling. I had an Americano first time, second time a Toffee Nut Latte and an amazing Almond Croissant. The coffee, both times was one of the very best I've had in a loooooong loong time, both times the drinks weren't burnt or bitter, but that warm, caramelly round, rich brown flavor that I'm always hoping for but very seldom find. Tbh, I'd go there for the coffee alone. ☕️ Plus! They have really delicious flavor choices, like White Chocolate Pistachio 😋, and others IDW mess up so om not going to try, but trust. The Almond Croissant. Oh, Thee Almond Croissant. I'm not a poet, nor a painter, but this creation was so delicious that I felt I found my Muse. Like, it was so good (🌟 💵 could never) that I sat to eat this powdered sugar dusted slice of bliss outside, on an over cast windy day. Worth it. In case there is an artiste wanting to born from within, I'll be visiting my muse again tomorrow...and the next day and the next. Hope to see you...
Read moreSo finally I stopped in for my mans birthday week. It's a smaller version of mystic and limited quanity because I was looking for the lemon tart, which is absolutely delicious. They didn't have it, but the woman told me to call ahead of time to see if available next time. Got macaroons and a sugar cookie. None of the other desserts were allergy friendly for me. They also had sandwiches and baked goods. 😋 Just don't go in hungry. It could be bad for you. Everything looked tasty. Ya having this place close by isn't a good thing for my waist. It's also a place where you have a variety to choose from, which makes you want to keep coming back. All things pumpkin right now! Im in heaven...my go to usually is their lemon tart and oatmeal blueberry cookie. It's also nice to try something different. They had a croissant filled with pumpkin. They were going fast, but I was able to get one. It's always good when you leave and have a big smile...
