I took my dress here nine days before my wedding to have it hemmed, bustled and taken in a half inch on each side near the bust. I went back for the fitting after alterations- I was not happy with the alternations specially how it was taken in at the bust, it looked worse!! After the seamstress told me it could be the shape of my body being not a symmetrical. She said she would try to fix what she had done. She had taken the side in and bundled beading into the netting of the dress which caused the netting to rip. When I returned the day before my wedding I tried the dress on quickly, still disappointed I let with the dress as I didn’t want them to do any further work on my dress. The night of my wedding the button that the seamstress reinforced popped off within five minutes of being bustled. A complete nightmare. I texted the shop owner a few days later also sending pictures of the damage. I brought the dress back in, shop owner and seamstress did offer to “repair” my dress, feeling very uncomfortably leaving my dress there I asked for them to pay another seamstress to repair the damage- she declined stating she didn’t know how much someone else would charge. Funny thing is I had to leave a cash deposit to even start alternations initially, which I had no problem doing. Then When I returned for my first fitting and was visibly unhappy the shop owner had the audacity to ask me to pay for the remainder of the alterations before leaving. I turned around and told her no I would not pay until I pick the dress up ( which I paid the full balance in cash when I pick the dress up despite the fact I was still highly disappointed )Poor business practice I shop local I support small businesses but don’t waste your time...

After a no show from our original seamstress to do alterations on my daughters wedding dress a month before her wedding, Mishelle & Cristin came to our rescue. With dress in hand and not knowing what to do Mishelle & Cristin happily made arrangements to meet with us immediately. They were both so accommodating and pleasant to work with, that I wished I had made arrangements from the start with them. Cristin is a wonderful designer and seamstress. Not only did she alter my daughters dress to perfection, she also designed and made “One of a Kind” bride, groom, father and mother of the bride COVID masks for us to wear at the wedding. They were stunning. Now here’s the best part of our experience there. I had my mothers wedding dress, which I also wore on my wedding day. I asked Cristin if she could design and make two garters from the satin and lace from the dress so I could give to my daughter to wear on her wedding day. One to throw at the wedding and the other for her to keep as an heirloom. The finished products were AMAZING!!!! My daughter and I booked an appointment at Mishale Bridal and arrived 20 minutes early. We were lucky to find street parking so we grabbed it and excitedly went into the store. As we entered we were approached by who I believe was the owner. Instead of a warm welcome, we were immediately told we were early. We smiled and told her we were excited to have found easy parking and would gladly wait for our appointment time. The woman then told us that she was about to have lunch (at 2:05) and also had to make phone calls. We found this odd as she was the only one in the store and it was past lunch time. We agreed to wait while she ate her lunch and walked around the tiny store. She then came over to us and asked us not to walk around the store. She asked us to leave the store and walk around the street instead. We agreed to leave and mentioned how unwelcoming and disappointed we were to be treated like this while shopping for a $3000 wedding dress. Her reply was, "I am a very nice person".
