Boardwalk Pizzeria — Restaurant in East Lyme

I went for the first time and got a veggie grinder and spinach and stuff salad and asked for balsamic instead of raspberry vin dressing. I got home and was quite honestly annoyed. The veggie grinder was just cheese, iceberg and tomatoes and the salad had raspberry vin. I called (and I was honestly pretty rude and steaming after a long day) and the guy on the other end was fantastic and said he would have the correct order delivered. Grinder was better, but salad had raspberry dressing poured all over it again, with the balsamic I asked for on the side. Such a bummer because the salad beneath the raspberry looks so good! Every time I have been in this place it has been off time's and is not been crowded. I don't know why the food is delicious and the prices are quite Fair. It's right across from the beach in Niantic there is convenient parking right across the street from the restaurant and I believe there is parking in back. My dad loves the chicken marsala. I have had the white pizza and the eggplant rollatini and both of them were outstanding. The service is terrific. I would say that the atmosphere is more like a pickup to go place. It is not a place you would go for a date night. But if you are looking for a good meal with good prices this is the place. Great place for takeout. Visited a couple of times recently, once for pizza and again for one of their family takeout specials. Nice selection of pizzas. We like the thin crusts and the pizzas were well cooked and toppings all tasty. Family takeout special was chicken parmigiana, penne pasta (with red sauce), a nice green salad and garlic knots. Plenty of food for six adults, probably even eight. Everything was very good and we’ll definitely be back for more.

Note there is no parking lot at the restaurant, so either need to grab one of the 5ish spots across the street or at a nearby lot.
