The Station at East Orange — Attraction in East Orange

The station at East Orange is currently a hidden gem, but I’m sure it’ll soon be the most sought out apartment complex in the area, this place is awesome! Fully renovated luxury apartments. I had called in advance to schedule an appointment to see the place, Christopher Garaicoa answered the phone and helped me set up a time to come tour The Station. He was extrodinary!

During the tour I was shown the private parking space that each resident would be getting once they move in, along with the building’s private office spaces which really intrigued me as I work from home and would definitely be utilizing this space. The station also has a private gym, high end security systems, it is a fully gated building, and staff would be available 24/7.

I toured the 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, and let me tell you they are stunning! Each apartment comes with brand new Kitchen appliances, in unit washer and dryers, and great lighting enters the apartment. One of the units even had a balcony to offer some outdoor space within the apartment, even though this building has it’s own private yard for residents to be able to host events and they’re currently finishing up the dog park that will be on the site which is great for pet owners like myself, I won’t have to go far to take my dog out.

After the tour, Christopher let me know what the next steps were and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I followed up with him, and he was quick to respond to all of my calls and texts, and kept me posted throughout the entire application process. Currently just waiting for final approval to see if I can get the apartment.

I haven't moved in yet but it's already clear that both the appartment and the building are of great quality! They could have done a better job with the kitchen cabinets but overall the appartments are great. This property is located 1 block away from the train station and 20 minutes from NYC. I couldn't be more impressed with my leasing agent, Michelle and the property manager, Casey! From start to finish, they were outstanding, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, attention to detail and a deep commitment to providing excellent customer service. Michelle was always responsive, polite and extremely patient with me. She took the time to listen to my needs and preferences making the process a stress free one. Throughout the leasing process, Michelle and Casey were always available to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. I took off two stars because of my experience with parking and my move out. Throughout my tenure we had so many issues with the staff over people parking in our parking spot. Michelle and Casey in the management were pleasant and helpful. They understood costumer service. Outside of them staff the was rude and seriously lacked people skills. Tracey was very snobbish in her approach. We kept her up to date with our situation and did not resign the lease but she acted as if she was unaware which is very dishonest. Apartment was a little small for the price but very nice. Amenities were nice ,gym, study and lounge were great! Only problem with lounge is you paid each month to use it( most months we didn’t use it and if you wanted to rent for an event you had to pay over 500$ for 4 hours.
