I recently had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful Islamic clothing store, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful and diverse selection of clothing on offer, including abayas and thobes for both men and women.

I’ve been shopping at Bakkah’s for years and truly value having this store in the community. That said, there's something that has become a real problem. Some of the elders working here consistently show very poor manners toward customers they don’t know. One woman almost knocked my child over just to help someone else. She literally pushed her out of the way. Just today, I stood at the counter for nearly 7 minutes while the cashier had an entire conversation with someone. He did not acknowledge me at all. He could have easily said, "I'll be with you one moment sister." When he finally came over, he looked at me without a word. I gave salaams, and when I asked for a product, he only pointed without offering help. His vibe was clearly a you're-interrupting-my-conversation type energy. I had to ask him again to point it out because I could not find it. That kind of dismissive behavior is unacceptable.

On the other hand, the younger employees I have encountered are the complete opposite. They’re polite, warm, respectful, and truly reflect good character. THEY FOLLOW THE SUNNAH. If it weren’t for them, I honestly would not keep shopping here. I hope the elders take note, because this kind of behavior drives...

Visited the store yesterday 1/24/2020 with my cousin and family . This was my first time visiting and found the location on Google.. wasn’t going to buy anything but wanted just to look. Mashallah!!! They have a large extensive line of man and women Muslim clothing, head wraps, praying rugs, books and many more. To say the least, walked out with a basket full and so did my cousin. The gentlemen who runs the store is very warm, honest and kind. He made sure we were satisfied with our purchases. Provided impeccable service with a smile. We ended buying an ayat al kursi wall decor which the glass broke when we placed it in the car, of which they went the extra mile to replace it even though it was our fault. They didn’t have to do that but the they did. Very appreciative of the service that we were provided and we definitely will be visiting the store every time we visit New Jersey and or NYC.
