Fondulac District Library — Attraction in East Peoria

Good variety in television. Lots of places to read or work quietly. Pretty garden. Some of the staff are exceptional at their work.

The reason for the low rating overall was that I picked up an item(s) a few (different) times only to find out it was on hold for someone else at the checkout. They offered to check it out to me anyway..? If a patron's hold ain't sacred, what is, I ask you? I'll wait a little longer if necessary if it means my books won't be snatched out from...

We love taking our kiddos to this library. The kids section is secluded (heavier doors that latch shut) and I’m so grateful because I don’t have to stress about them disrupting adult readers. There are tons of toy/activity centers that all our kids (infant - 6 y.o.) really enjoy. Story time is super fun and they almost always have a free standing craft table. Bathrooms are tidy and include a changing station for baby if needed....

I walk in and they never greet me or say “have a great day” like they do with everybody else. Terrible SERVICE!!! I’m human too and deserve respect as much as you give to everyone else that walks...
