Originally went to this best buy to get a single phone upgraded. The Best Buy sales person helped me with this upgrade and he was great. He even kind of advised against upgrading the way Verizon recommend. In the end he was right. Long story short I went to upgrade two other phones on my plan to the edge program and it turned out to be a mess. This time I had a different sales person and he was great as well. Took almost 3 hours to fix everything and we had to stay 45 minutes after hours and he still kindly put new screen protectors on two of the three phones he upgraded for me. Left there tired because the wait, but happy with the service.
Now forward a few days after when my fiancee goes back to get a screen protector added to the phone that originally didn't get one installed. She got some girl that just threw the screen protector on the phone without pushing the solution from under the protector out and told my fiancee it will work itself out within 24 hours. She said to bring it back whenever if it don't come out. We'll that is all fine, besides the fact that we live 25 minutes away. The girl lied and had to of know it wouldn't of work itself out. It should have been done right the first time or tried again. The next day the screen protector still looked terrible and we was out of town, so she had to wait until we got back to get it fixed.
Finally she gets a chance to take the phone back to get the screen protector fixed and the mobile phone manager on duty was rude about re-installing a new screen protector even though his employee screwed up. He said it has to be brought back within 24 hours and said he would have to a one time exception. Next they finally find a person to put the protector on the phone and it looked better, but still had a few bubbles. This person said sorry we have no more protectors and if you want that fixed you will have to order one and come back. He didn't think to say, so I messed this protector up and I'll refund your money and we can call you when some new ones get in to make sure it's perfect. She left very disappointed.
My warning to anyone reading this is to make sure your protector is 100% before paying anything. Don't let them send you home if the protector don't look good. They have a few rookie installers and sales people, but a few do know what they are doing. The rule there is they will keep installing the screen protectors until you say it's good.
Also, it could be hit and miss on the sales person you get. If your talking to someone and they have no idea what's going on I recommend asking for someone else or try back another day to maybe get someone good that was just off work the day you was there.
So far Best Buy in Peoria is 2 for 4 in service.
If any store manager or owner from Best Buy Peoria is readying this, please get your employees some training. If they can't do something don't have them keep trying it and if they can show good customer service get rid of them. From other customer reviews it seems hit and...

(By joining i get the product installed and serviced in case of technical problems...) Adam, a ring representative, came out to my house to help me with what I need for security cameras installed. He assured me that the installers would know how and where to put the cameras. Well, not so much. The installation crew mocked me for what I bought and then proceeded to go in different directions. One stayed in and the other went outside. (I stayed inside...) They also said they had no communication with Adam about where to place the cameras. The installer outside placed cameras too high for me to change batteries. One was even located under a gutter that blocked half of the view. Another was monitoring my neighbor and alerted me when she would come home or walk her dog. Not that I needed to know... One of the installation crew told me he was feeling hot, maybe feverish and he said he was breaking out in a rash. I asked him if he needed to reschedule but he hurried thru the install assuring me that I had plenty of time to adjust these things since I belong to the geek squad service. Well within 2 days of cameras installation the front of house camera battery died completely. By day 5, four out of six cameras needed batteries and one was off line. I tried calling best buy in Peoria. Well, what you get is an automated problem solver that you need to figure out how your problem fits its choices...if you can't it hangs up on you. If you happen to get a human they will take your name and number and eventually tell you that you have reached the wrong call center and you will need to be transferred to someone else. At this point it starts all over. You can reexplain the problem and they almost help but they need to transfer once again. Now you have time invested and your problem is not resolved so you stay on the line listening to music that should be played in guantanimo. Just when I thought something was going to happen I get hung up on by the next call center. I want a refund for everything. I'm not asking for compensation for my time wasted. Read moreWorst customer service! Bought a dish washer in May and it broke within 2 weeks. After hours and hours of phone calls and being hung up on several times, they finally sent someone out to try and fix it. It took 6 different times for repair guys to try and trouble shoot it and lots of my time and days. Turns out geek squad rammed the dish washer under my counter top and messed up the electric box doing so. So the repair guys said that geek squad would have to fix the problem since it was an install issue. So, a few more phone calls to Best Buy and several hours on the phone to try to explain this, they finally unintalled my dishwasher in July. As geek squad pulled out the dishwasher, they tore a big hunk out of my counter top!!! And to top it all off they didn't take the dishwasher with them. They just left it in my kitchen and said they didn't have an order to take it with them!! They also said the new dishwasher wouldn't be in until mid August!! So from The beginning of July to mid August I have had a dishwasher sitting in my kitchen and a big hole under my counter with exposed wires. Not to mention I have a toddler that I've had to make sure doesn't touch them and electrocute himself during this month and a half. Finally the day came for the new dish washer to be installed and the old one to be finally taken away that was sitting in the middle of my kitchen. They were suppose to come between 8-9am, which was arranged a month and 1/2 ago. 9:30am came and no one was there. More phone calls to Best Buy and more arguing that we were liars and that we never had an early morning appointment. We are still dealing with this and nothing has been resolved yet. We are also now dealing with best buys insurance to get our counter top fix. This has been such a head ache. I will NEVER buy anything from Best Buy again!!!
