Mercantile at the Ridge — Attraction in East Ridge

This was probably our third or fourth visit, and every single time we walk through the doors, we find ourselves saying how much we truly love this place. It’s become one of our favorite spots to browse, whether we’re casually looking or hunting for something specific. The store offers such a wide and eclectic variety—furniture, vintage toys, antiques, home décor, and so much more. There’s always something new to discover, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into curating the inventory.

One thing that consistently stands out is the staff. They’ve always been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and willing to help without being overbearing. Their kindness and genuine enthusiasm really add to the overall experience. The prices are also very reasonable, fair, affordable, and often better than what you’d find elsewhere for similar items.

Another huge plus is how clean and well-organized the store is. It never feels cluttered or overwhelming, which makes browsing even more enjoyable. It’s obvious the owners and team take pride in maintaining a space that’s as pleasant as it is practical.

Good location and great selection of unique items but I don't plan to ever go back. I was totally turned off by a gentleman assisting cashiers that seemed to think wecwere out to steal merchandise. Our cashier had requested tags off each of 6 items being purchased and we provided that but the gentleman would not verify with cashier. He kept hovering and questioned whether we were paying for every item. At 60 years old, I very much enjoy antiquing and regularly update decor in the four homes we own. I have enjoyed this establishment under current ownership and under prior ownership. I have never had an experience like this. This place is so magical and amazing! I am an avid antique browser and occasionally buyer and this place is perfect for both! Endless items to look at with everything so nicely organized. I bought several gifts for people from her for this Christmas. There is a very great price range on items and enough booths you're sure to find a sale. And I've never met anyone at the front desk who wasn't super friendly and helpful! Plan to shop here many more times. Also if you need to do brunch or lunch the tea house in the back...
