Village Chocolatier — Attraction in East Tawas

Every time I come in, my absolutely MUST GET item is the seafoam. This time I tried it chocolate covered and was not disappointed. I love this cute little store. Their chocolate is amazing. The fillings are delicious. I got these chocolate caramel covered pretzel rods, and when I say it was the most amazing experience, I mean, it tastes like chocolate caramel. Not just the two together. But, like they somehow matched the perfect amount of the two that neither is over powering the other. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but, you definitely get what you pay for. Sorry, but I cannot give a good review and here is why... I was very excited to get to try the dairy free 70% chocolates. We came on Sunday. They were out of the kind that had dried cherries and I asked if they had any more. The girl looked at the ladies in the kitchen and said, I don't think so. She waited on the person ahead of me and then she skipped me and asked the person behind me what they wanted. We came to Tawas to get dairy free chocolates for me! The lady behind me ordered tons of stuff. I was never acknowledged beyond when I asked about more chocolates. So we left. We won't waste our time...

Nothing against the chocolate but the customer service we just received was horrible. Brought my friend here to try their chocolate for the first and as she was checking out we let the lady know her chip was not working so she was going to manually enter in the CC info until some lady runs over and yells absolutely NOT in front of everyone and says no chip or tap then you cant purchase. It was terrible and the lady ringing up up was almost done entering in the CC info. Just rude and nasty. We will NOT be coming back....
