The place overall is decent with decent food options. I went there today with a few kids and paid $80 for 2 hours of bowling + shoes.
We ordered some food and drinks too reasonably priced It looked like the staff was all of two people the owner and one other person running the registers and shoes.
After an hour into our bowling, the two lanes next to us were also booked. It was a party of maybe 12 people with very very young kids. From the time they got there, they were all crowding around the main bowling area, which made it hard for us to board in our own lane because I was worried that one off the younger kids may drop the ball on one of my kids. I asked the family first to step back a bit and they did momentarily. Once again when they were in our way I complained to the front desk. He said he will do something about it. Still nothing. Then I complained to the owner and told him he needs to do something about it since it’s a hazard and he said he told them and they weren’t listening. So I told him what if the little kids drop the ball on one of kids foot and he said “but they didn’t right?”?? That was it for us. Our two hours or so were up or close to it and I just left. Needless to say we won’t be going back there again ever. The owner doesn’t care about his customers and rather wait for a mishap before taking any action. It’s a...
Read moreAbsolutely love going here to bowl a few games. My friends and I kind of stumbled on the place as it was the midpoint for most of us. We have been going every other week for a few months and always have a great time. Owner is always super helpful. I’m a big hockey fan so he’ll put the game on the tv over the lanes for me. I like how if bowling with kids you can set up so the bumpers go up for the kids and down again for the adults. Music is always good and eclectic. Our group can be pretty loud and intense and we never get asked to tone it down. Owner told us have all the fun you want you’re not bothering any other lanes and not breaking anything. Bar is fully stocked and has some great beers on tap. The owner knows his beers so when in doubt talk him up and he’ll point you in the right direction. Food is typical bowling alley chicken fingers and fries was a good portion but the pizza is on point. Can’t go wrong with the pizza. All in all I highly recommend this place...
Read moreHave been going every Tuesday for Quartermania for over a month now, and I must say I'm really enjoying the place. It's nothing special in terms of the appearance or features, but it's quaint and I like that. Unfortunately the Ground Round that was attached to it closed down, so that leaves you with very little options for food. However, after the bar opens at 6 there are plenty of drink and some snack options as well.
The staff there has always been friendly to my friends and I. Typically the music choices there are very good and sets a good bowling atmosphere. The lanes all work well for the most part, but of course there are some hiccups from time to time. It's pretty spacious and has never been REALLY busy to the point where we'd ever had to wait.
All in all, I have a great time while I'm there and look forward to going every Tuesday. If you've never been, I suggest checking it out on a Tuesday after work for some inexpensive...
