Extra Space Storage — Attraction in East Windsor Township

I never leave bad reviews just take my business elsewhere but when it comes to safety I feel I need to share. Do NOT rent here.NOT SAFE. GATE BROKEN BEFORE I RENTED ONLINE. Almost 2 months still broken and the doors into the building are not locked!!!! I rented 2 units over a month ago. First the office is always mixed up on which account is which with payments saying one I vacated had a lock on it when it was NOT true. No apology just a call to say all set. Second there has been NO CLEANING SINCE IVE BEEN THERE. My unit is at the end so I have to walk an entire floor same dirt caked in the corners for months.floors are FILTHY. Third & WORST someone lives in the unit across from mine. I get there at 7pm lastnight and first downstairs I smell smoke inside the building so already disturbed…I turn the corner at the end, the unit across from mine the door is ajar shoes out front a bike parked. The photo shows his door ajar the cart is where my door is. I opened it removed one thing but my back to him I locked up to wait. I should have left but I knew my parents were on their way. I saw hello and a guy comes out. I ask him to move his bike so I can get into my unit. Totally dangerous on my part but the shock of it all plus I have events all weekend and needed my stuff. The person was chatty NOT in a good way and wasn’t leaving. They went in their unit with door ajar while I have my back turned getting into my unit. But my instinct was on high alert I realized my stupidity and decided to wait for my dad. Only then did he leave once my dad came but left his bike there. I’m still very upset I’m closing out my account asap. We all know storage facilities can be shady but it’s clear no one walks the buildings or checks the cameras. I’ve always had storage units never saw a place so dirty but I’ve been to busy to switch but after lastnight for safety I am making the time! Do NOT RENT HERE. Oh and another guy randomly came in while we were coming down. He was like a zombie walking eyes open but out of it. He came upstairs then went back down. Didn’t go to any units just the stairwell then...

I recently transferred my storage unit from another facility to this one. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by John, who not only provided exceptional assistance but also demonstrated honesty and sincerity in providing me with comprehensive information about the facility. In many instances, when inquiring about a potential purchase or rental, staff members tend to focus solely on "selling" their facility. However, John's transparency in addressing all my inquiries was greatly valued. He facilitated a tour of the available units and the facility, ensuring that I felt secure visiting the premises alone, even at night if necessary. The facility boasts impeccable cleanliness, excellent lighting, and climate-controlled units. Additionally, it features convenient amenities such as an elevator and drive-up loading/unloading areas. Every aspect of the facility, from the units to the parking lot, exudes cleanliness. John collaborated with me to streamline the transition from my previous storage unit location to this one, going above and beyond to provide assistance and, most importantly, honesty. I had no grievances with my previous storage facility, aside from the absence of an elevator, and I was pleasantly surprised by how seamless the relocation process turned out to be. Having previously been a patron of another Extra Space Storage facility and having had a positive experience, I was delighted to discover that this facility is also affiliated with Extra Space Storage. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone seeking storage solutions. As a woman, I feel confident in stating that I can visit this facility alone at night without concerns for my safety. We’ve had such a positive experience with Life Storage in East Windsor, largely thanks to the wonderful team members, Tiffany and John. When we first arrived, I had the pleasure of working with Tiffany, who was exceptionally accommodating from day one. She made the entire setup process smooth and easy and has consistently kept me updated on a few important deliveries we needed for the storage unit—something we appreciated greatly.

John has also been incredibly helpful; on one occasion, he even went above and beyond to bring a delivery out to my car. While he didn’t have to do that, his willingness to lend a hand truly stood out and added to the great experience I’ve had here.

Both Tiffany and John are professional, friendly, and approachable, maintaining a respectful distance while always being ready to answer any questions or assist whenever needed. The facility itself is peaceful and quiet, providing an ideal atmosphere for storage, and their professionalism enhances the overall experience. I highly recommend Life Storage (or whoever bought them out) in East Windsor and am grateful to Tiffany and John for their excellent service.
