Out of the Fire has moved to a new location. This is an actual house, where each room in the house is a dining area. This is a cute concept and gives a distinctive dining experience. You can park along the street; there is a specific parking area next to the gas station across that is available for OftF patron after 5pm.
The staff were very attentive but not overbearing. The attention and the detailed services make them above other restaurants, which makes the atmosphere and the ambiance more enjoyable.
The menu isn't large - and it doesn't really need to be, as long as the items on the menu are executed well. The presentation and the plating of the dishes can be summarized as colorful rustic beauty. The dishes are aromatic and delicious. Each ingredient has its own characteristic representation; however, when combined, skillful balance of texture and enhancement of overall flavor cannot be missed.
Definitely ask the special of the day is – thoroughly enjoyed the Anchovy Toast during our visit
Recommended dishes: Maze Platter. NOTE: order extra Naan. You will need it Grilled Pork Chop. So juicy and full of flavor! The sauce accompanies the pork is unreal! Fire Roasted Trout. Great balance of texture, color and seasoning. Light, yet satisfying. Margarita Pizza – Homemade dough is the highlight
Thank you Out of the Fire, for giving us such great meal and...
Read moreWe were VERY pleasantly surprised by our experience and our meal at Out of the Fire.
My wife and a do our best to eat a vegetarian diet which is often easier to do on home turf, harder when on the road. We were in Easton for an evening and used the interwebs to identify vegetarian-friendly options. I was honestly kind of shocked that the place was so thoroughly booked, even though it was Valentine's Day. I had -- mistakenly, apparently -- thought that Easton was a blue-collar little brother to the tonier St. Michaels. Out of the Fire dramatically exceeded our expectations. It's not surprise the place was covered up.
We found the staff to be very friendly and appropriately attentive. The food was terrific, and I am confident that omnivores will be equally impressed. We had a beet and apple soup and two of the salads for starters. The salads were astonishingly good...to the point where I asked our server who'd come up with them so I could pass along my compliments after the meal. For our purposes, a refrain repeated during our meal was "man, if you were at a large table and were served this food next to folks eating burgers and steaks, you'd still feel like you were not an...
Read moreEverything was perfect. Had researched restaurants in Easton MD for a trip and Out of the Fire made the list but frankly we were 100 yards away when the rain became harder and we said, "Let's give it a try." Wow! The rain was a sign - a very good sign. Service from MaryAnn and full team was top notch - attentive but not intrusive; friendly but not "too" familiar. Food was amazing. We split a salad from the special list that lived up to the billing - fresh baby greens, celery, blue cheese, sunflower seeds and toasted sourdough crumbs for a nice crunch. We paired it with forcacia bread. Entrees were pork collars braised in a wood fired oven with pickled onion and capers; and a maitake mushroom and shishito pepper pizza topped with fontina cheese. HAD to try a dessert- two warm chocolate chip cookies with house made Earl Grey-date-almond ice cream. There aren't enough stars to do justice to this review. And again: MaryAnn did an amazing job of presenting the menu and each course. Add to all this the decor which is simple but elegant with fabulous photography enhanced with a soundtrack of cool jazz. If you're in Easton, go to Out of the Fire. If you're 100 miles away,...
