On my first vacation after the Covid confinement, I would not have expected a toy store to be among my favorite experiences, but Crackerjacks is not your average toy store. It was a trip back to my childhood, seeing all the toys and books I had loved when I was a kid, side by side with some of the newer innovations. It was so great to see that mix of older, more traditional toys alongside some of the newest ones. I actually left with a bunch of books, and some presents. Part of what made the experience so great was the staff – the ability to ask about anything in the store and get an interesting and informed answer really enhanced the experience. I still love Crackerjacks! I used to shop at Crackerjacks a lot when my son was young, but he's 23 now. I had not been here in years, but I was in town looking for a gift for a grandchild and I was so happy to see Crackerjacks still going strong! It was like visiting an old friend. This is an awesome little toy store! Tons to see and choose from. My daughter loved testing out the unique steel drum on display (with mallets set out). The prices are comparable to what I see on Amazon and it's just nice to see the quality of something before purchasing. Very high quality store. Lots of puzzles, stuffed animals, artistic toys, cars and so much more. Glad this place...
