So much fun! Our tour guide (Katherine, I believe) was from a longtime Edenton family & she shared town history as well as personal knowledge! It was so much nicer than a tour guide just sharing facts. I recommend one of the earlier tours in your day/trip so you can get an easy lay of the town & information on where you would like to further explore. I skipped some of my to do items & replaced them with other things I learned about on the trolley (even down to my lunch choice). The trolley itself was also comfortable & rode nicely. Our driver was equally as engaging. Overall, one of my favorite things in the day!

Highly recommend this fantastic tour through historic Edenton! We learned so much and our kids were engaged throughout the tour on the lovely trolley. We can't wait to walk through the neighborhoods we rode through! Pretty cool to get to see the oldest home in North Carolina.

Gives you a good look at all of the historic buildings in the town. The narration is very scripted. I wasn’t able to ask questions during the script but I could ask questions after.

They did the impossible by keeping my 6, 12, and 14 year old kids engaged for a full hour!

The driver and tour guide were both incredibly friendly and engaging.

It was fascinating to learn about the unique history of Edenton. They thoughtfully highlighted the early accomplishments of the town’s women from a political perspective, presented in a way that was informative without being too political.

They also did a fantastic job sharing the inspiring stories of early African-Americans who overcame significant barriers to become some of the most accomplished individuals in the town and the state.

Overall, it was well-rounded, educational, and...

This was our favorite thing we did in Edenton on our girl's weekend. The trolley is really cute inside and out and it was so nice to get out of the heat and sit while we learned all the interesting history of the town. Our guide and driver were friendly and everything was smooth and well rehearsed, perfect for sitting back and relaxing to look and listen. I don't prefer a lot of tired jokes and forced audience interaction. The history of this little town is pretty big and the number of late 17- early 18 hundreds houses is astonishing. I don't recommend the back row because the wheelchair ramp mostly blocks the view from the rear...

My husband and I just got off our tour with Chris (the driver) and Barbara (the tour guide), and they were incredible!! It was just my husband and I on the tour this morning so it was a nice little private drive, we really lucked out! The tour was very informative - the history within this little town is truly amazing and Barbara’s explanation throughout the tour was great. She’s so easy to follow along with and listen to. Chris’ little tidbits and jokes were the perfect compliment for Barbara too. We cannot say enough great things and look forward to coming back to do it again with family and friends. Thank you Chris...
