The Citrus Live — Attraction in Edinburg

Attended the Spazmatics concert last night. Parking wasn’t too bad. We parked on a side street. I thought it was very thoughtful that they had big umbrellas set up outside while we waited in line to get into the venue. Appreciated the bag check and every one got checked by security for our safety. The concession stand had all the snacks I wanted! Nachos, popcorn, hot dog, etc. Staff was great and line went fast. Bathrooms were clean and nice. I would suggest buying tickets for the first floor because I’m not sure if we would have been on the balcony if I could see. The venue was nice and clean, BUT my family and I (7 people) could NOT see at all. We had great 2nd row seats on the balcony, but the people at the tables at the front of the balcony stayed standing up dancing almost the whole time which totally blocked the entire stage. We were there to see the Spazmatics, which is not just music, it's a great show....normally. The manager was even asked to address the situation by the group in the front row in front of us and it remained the same. Very, very disappointed! I will probably never return...

What a blast from the past--the Citrus is alive! The Spasmatics were great tonight, but seeing local folks enjoying an evening out in a beautifully curated venue in Edinburg was so good to see. This community is hungry for quality entertainment, and Citrus Live is delivering. And the popcorn...simply sublime. Definitely coming back...
