8/2025 update. Been a member for a few months now after having memberships at three other gyms in the valley. Unfortunately, this is the worst one but has the most convenient location/hours for us. If we hadnāt just dropped $120 on annual fees Iād switch back to another one even though they are farther from home.
Itās almost always over-crowded here. But even now, when it happens to be calm, you canāt use half the equipment because of missing or broken pieces. I tried 5 different machines that were missing the pin for the weight stack. The cable system had 8 stations but only 6 carabiners for attachments. A random person saw me searching for 20min and dismantled another machine to give me one, but even that carabiner didnāt stay closed so itās dangerous to use with heavy weight. Five of the paper towel dispensers I went to were empty. And three paper towel stations didnāt have spray.
I get that the staff canāt keep up with members not re-racking stuff, and a gym at this price point is going to be crowded. But the basics really need to be taken care of.
And while weāre at it, Iāll also mention that Iām not a fan of the aggressive, pressure sales tone. I purchased a personal training package that I hadnāt used yet, but the training manager was super condescending and kept pushing for me to buy another one. When I told her that I wanted to use the one I already bought first, her demeanor went from fake nice to cold and rude.
The only great thing about this gym is personal trainer, Ale. Sheās knowledgeable and professional. And if I stay at TruFit Iāll continue to work with her, as long as I donāt have to encounter the training manager anymore.
Really hoping management prioritizes basic equipment maintenance and upkeep because this is a decent facility (one of the newest TruFits in the valley) but itās barely usable in its current condition.
Oh, and management should know that new members with personal training packages receive an automated email with a reply-to email address for a former employee who now works for Goldās and warns us why he left TruFit.

5-stars based on customer service, particularly from Victoria and Albert. But everyone I have dealt with has been wonderful. My initial impression of this location wasnāt the greatest, but the more time I spend here the more impressed I am with the employees.
Our family is currently halfway through our 7-day trial. Is this gym perfect? No. But I think they are doing the best they can. At this price point, a lot of the surface cleanliness and organization lies in the hands of the members. During peak hours, the place is a mess. No amount of staff could keep up with people just leaving stuff everywhere. But during less-busy hours, this place is quite pleasant and clean.
The kids club seems to be geared more towards toddlers and babies, but my kiddos still have a good time. I would prefer they play kid movies rather than youtube on the screen. But the staff members are always really nice and they arenāt afraid to implement rules, which I really appreciate.
My only real gripe about this club is that the spray bottles that everyone has to use are hung from the trash cans in a way that the part you squeeze is stored IN the trash. An easy fix could be some cheap hooks installed onto the walls. More hand sanitizer would...

They ended up sending me with some arrogant guy , its sounds bad but honestly I don't even remember his name. Thru had told me all you need is your ID , I was going for the Promotion pay 1 cent for 2 weeks free. So once there , I informed him I didn't have my account/routing # or my debit. Something he told me I needed, I explained girl who called me said only ID. (I was ready to workout, only had keys nd cell) He never apologized or acknowledge what I told him. So he instructed me, oh open your account , I can assist me yo retrieve account number. I don't know if only me , but I don't feel comfortable to have others go into my bank account. So I gave him a Pic of Debit I had in my cell. HE had cell on hand and kept swiping on it ,I asked "what are you looking for?" the number are theres?? He didn't even look at me until I spoke louder and I asked for my cell. He said oh I still need it to enter number. I asked you still don't. After more than 4 minutes with cell. After he looked at me ,he was oh no problem ma'am you can come back when ready. This After he saw how uncomfortable he was making me feel and after I told him I felt he was hurrying me and rushing me thru process. Its been a while I was thinking of going back, hadn't after Covid. I go and I get the worst service no professionalism , all where just in rush to leave . And he was an assistant to some other girl that just sat me at a desk. I will never go back, guess all they said about TRUFIT IS true....

They told me they donāt pause memberships and I have to contact ABC solutions in order to do that since Iām physically unable to go in person. ABC solutions said my request was processing and can call in 7 days if I havenāt received a call back, I called today and they told me they only help with canceling membership not pause memberships and only the Trufit Iām located at can help with that. By now they already charged my monthly membership 4 days ago when this could have been solved 2 weeks ago. I got in contact with the operational manager, Jasmine Medrano, who was very defensive when asking her why she canāt pause my membership and refund the monthly fee they charged and was being very rude and was saying if I rebuke the charge through my bank they will continues charging me and she can only pause my membership for 4 days till Iām able to return to working out again. She hung up in a hurry and when I was asking her to give me her general managers email address and name she didnāt want to give it to me and only gave me her first name Arlette and said sheās not allowed to give me her last name.. hope the management gets better and they are more understanding to peoples circumstances instead of trying to take peoples money when they are incapable of going in person to...
