The Good and Bad — Restaurant in Edinburg

Meh. I’m not sure if I came on a bad day or what, but I was not satisfied with my food and didn’t even finish the half order. I ordered the steak hibachi with steamed rice and a side of yum yum sauce. I specifically ordered it rare because people constantly overcook steak and it happened again today. The steak was almost inedible for me, it’s well done and so hard to eat it was getting stuck in my teeth. The flavor also just wasn’t there for me, obviously other people like it but it didn’t taste like anything other than just meh. They were out of broccoli and soda when I came, and the yum yum sauce came in a tiny container and was only filled half way. I guess I’ve only ever had good homemade yum yum sauce because this one was gross. I definitely won’t be back and posting for others who are looking for hibachi or lunch...

I’ve been wanting to try this place out since last year; I finally decided to go and it did not disappoint! I ordered the full steak/shrimp bowl extra spicy (Aoki-style). Meat was a bit tough but good and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. The fried rice was so good and yummy, just the right balance of sodium and flavor mixed with the spicy mayo and sriracha which complemented the steak and shrimp perfectly! The full order can easily feed two people so next time I’ll order the half if it’s only myself. Nice little food truck some of the best hibachi in the valley they don't take long at all either. A lot of options from chicken steak and shrimp and some sides also, everyone at my workplace loves it even asking for some for later on at dinner time. Great service also the guys there are always on the ball and are very cool still remember when it was freezing cold out and they still ran out to get my order...
