This place is the worst!!! Seriously, doesn’t even deserve 1 star!!! I asked the waiter for chips and salsa and he said I had to order in a specific way!!! Seriously, I have never been told how I’m suppose to order!!! If I want to order dessert first I can!!! And the even more incompetent manager said that is the way to order are in steps!!! The waiter brought me the food not even a bit warm, it was cold, like really cold like it was taken out of the fridge to the plate. When we told him that all the food was cold, he started arguing… he is beyond rude and a complete incompetent!!!! I included his picture and the manager, that’s if she’s even the manager, that was just as useless… when I returned the plate to her she was smirking, I guess she forgot she didn’t have her mask on and I could see her face, she should have her mask on when she’s around the food, she put it on to charge… then she was fighting me a lemonade that came with the plate and that it stayed on the table and she wanted me to pay for it… I was are you hearing yourself!! After the worse service, the nasty food and she still wanted me to pay the lemonade that came with the package 1…. Ohhh, on top she wanted to include the 15% for the tips for the incompetent Omar the waiter!!! I paid only what my son ate, just one chicharrón de pescado, something the incompetent manager should had been embarrassed to charge because of so much incompetence and stupidity combined!!!! Atmosphere and the cleanliness is always great where it lacks in others. I remember why we hadn't returned since the last time we returned we had to ask 3 times for the birthday clap for my son back in June 2024. This time I only went back because my mom was craving some fish soup/caldo since my mother and I had been sick. I was finally feeling better enough to make the drive for a pick up to be in and out quickly.

Once I arrived, paid and received my order I asked if I could have some limes and the girl waved me off that there was some in the bag. I walked back to my car to find out there weren't any. This was annoying because I'm sick and was trying not to be out in public as little as possible. I had a mask and use germ profusely when I'm sick but I wouldn't have had to go back inside for the limes that were already supposed to come with the caldo.

The caldo was alright but overpriced in my opinion especially with the treatment. Carmelita's has a cheaper and more rich in vegetables caldo. This happened in a mid afternoon Wednesday (around 1:30-2:30pm) so it wasn't like there was a line or a lunch rush when I had gone in. It was just broth and pieces of tilapia.

I went to eat here on Friday night with my husband and family. They were very busy and most of the servers did a good job however, the server that I had was a short dark girl I don’t remember her name, but she was very rude and never came to our table to check on us so when we started looking around for her, we noticed why and it was because she got into a confrontation with another girl Who was also working and was trying to Physically fight her co worker and the other girl walked away , and was Evidently sent home because we saw her walk out of the door while the other girls just stayed laughing. I am a business owner, and I do not condone that and I think that the manager an older lady, should have Done a better job. my family and I go here often and it is not the first time that we have seen or heard even the cooks and servers fighting and yelling at each other cussing in Spanish.
