Edmond's dog park is definitely not ADA compliant. Maybe they don't realize that even service dogs need to play and socialize sometimes. There's no handicap entrance and the walkway is uneven and muddy after rains. The fenced-in entrance has a dip of several inches that's a trip hazard and will make it impossible for wheelchair bound residents to use the facility. It's also too tight of a space to maneuver a wheelchair in. There's no bench designated for handicapped, so on a busy day, even those on canes and walkers will have no choice but to stand and hopefully not trip or fall. Down by the lake, there's no seating inside the fence and the ground's uneven. It's as if the management of the park have never considered how important dog's are to the disabled. Maybe they've forgotten there are thousands of service dogs in the state or that even those with pets who aren't service dogs need a companion. Please consider making changes. You have a gate on the west side that could be modified to use as a handicap entrance. There's no reason not to do this other than a...

I'm only giving this four stars because I really dislike the water area. Dogs can easily sneak out of the water into a nonfenced area, which makes me nervous because this park is so close to major city streets. If you want your dog to swim in an enclosed pond, I recommend the park near Hefner.

The Edmond dog park is well kept and definitely grassier than the Hefner dog park, which is nice. I feel like dogs have more area to run - helpful for people like me who have big dogs that like to run forever!

Be wary of other dogs. Some owners have no idea how to control their animals. We bring our Pyrenees here for training purposes (working on distraction, coming on command, etc) and bring treats with us, and we've had other dogs bite our pockets trying to steal said treats while their owners just laugh it off. We've also seen some dogs that are a little too aggressive to be off leash. All I can say is, if you're a responsible pet owner that watches your dog and keeps him/her in check, you...

This dog park is a complete shame. It's hidden behind a strip mall where dogs are not welcome. The several times my dog has found treats laying around that mad him very ill. Other dogs run around unchecked being very aggressive and six times my property has been urinated on in attempts for this "dog" pack to mark my property as their own. The main doer belongs to an individual with who dresses nice like a business person but has two curly mixed dogs, he and his dogs follow and shadow me everywhere I go and there every single time I show up, leaving at the same time as well. This is EXACTLY the kind of behavior we are taught to watch out for in public places. I used to work out of the Flying J up the road and dozens of times have seen his car at night dropping girls off to the truckers. He obviously knows I work there. And my phone several times has suddenly shut off and won't connect while he is around. I figure it's why...

Wish the pond was kept up better but other than that my dogs love this place, most people are nice but watch out for a aggressive dogs. I've seen multiple people take aggressive dogs into this park so they could play fetch. when my dog goes over to say hello because well, it's a dog park the other owners will often get mad at you for letting your friendly dog come say hi to their aggressive dog. There is a sign that clearly states NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS yet people think them and there terror of a dog are above that. If doanet happen often but when it does they are very entitled.

My babies loved to play here. You feel apart of the community as soon as you walk into it. The lake is a perfect addition and the girls made new friends and so did we. It is a place to connect and have fun and the facilities are perfect. Its large enough for your first babies to run as much as they want. The water bowl in the middle is perfect placement as there is so much going on that it is nice to have a designated place for them to drink. I appreciate this place so much.
