Tldr; Lots of Bootleg / Knockoff Prizes, very little value in coming here
Drove up here from Norman because I had heard Edmond was starting to get good claw arcades. I'm actually very disappointed in this one if not for the fact that the idea is great, but the execution is very noticably setup in a way that benefits the shop owners bottom line.
So the setup is great: Win small plush toys from the claws, trade those plush toys in for bigger prizes from a prize wall. 2-9 plushies for a med size anime figure, up to 30 plushies for large scale figures. This is a really novel approach and where the shop could really shine against competition. Staff are friendly and helpful with explaining how the system works, the store is clean, and it's easy to move around in even if it's not too big. If the shop has been set up in a fair manner and had licensed figures I'd have left a 5 start review.
The unfortunate part is, nearly every prize and figure is a bootleg. Scale prizes on the wall are clearly bootleg with multiple plastic or paint imperfections (eyes going the wrong way, seam lines, what you think of when it comes to those state far booths with knockoff Chinese anime stuff.) Smaller prizes may be hit or miss, but will have some of the same glaring issues and have a cheap, plasticy feel to them.
Claws are setup in a way that they can be won, but they are very loose and will take multiple attempts. Prizes from each machine are low quality, with cheap fabric, ripped or misaligned seams, sloppy stitch work, or underfilled poly. I could give a pass for this if the intent was to trade in the low quality plushes without much intent for people to keep them, but that's advertised as a selling point from the workers.
Gatchapon prizes, which take up most of the north wall, are really where my trust was shattered. All gatchapon offerings were bootleg, which arguably is a big financial rug pull. Gatchapon are some of the cheapest offerings to run in an arcade (put in a few coins, get a random small guaranteed toy or mini figure from a set). These shouldn't be bootleg given how cheap it is to run those machines and how easily it is to get the normal, non knockoff versions.
Overall if you just enjoy playing crane games with small children who don't care about the toys you win, this would be a decent place to visit. For those who want quality prizes or are looking for actual anime figures or gatcha, this...
Read moreI love this place. The people that work here are very kind, caring and genuinely love to see you win prizes! They are also there to help assist you if you want a specific prize to be placed within reach of the claw. That, and if you've spent some time and money on a machine, after a bit they will help assist you with favorably placing the prize in a position where you will likely win it pretty much immediately. I have gone here multiple times to win prizes and every time has been phenomenal. They have special events going on very frequently (you can check them out on Instagram for more up to date details!) where they have very interesting stuff going on. For instance, I went in with my significant other on Valentine's Day. They were giving out roses to each individual. That, and couples who went in got 15 free tokens. They have a free membership card that (I think) gives you discounts on coins you purchase to play the machines. Also, they routinely do raffles for cool stuff when you spend a certain amount. It is totally worth it, fun and so great going here. I try to make it a monthly (or so) event. If there aren't any prizes I would like for myself, I usually get something for my family, friends or towards the pile I make to donate to a local children's hospital (because I know they need and want some cute soft plushies!). Nothing but great words for this business and the people...

I have been driving past for a few weeks and was just now able to go in and I am glad that I did.
My boyfriend and I go to Round1 every so often but the pricing causes us to go far less than we would like. The Claw Factory has replaced them even though the hours are not near as compatible with our schedules/ time together. A majority of the claw machines are 1 coin and is WAY better than the competitor and is much more appreciated. The gachapons are a few coins more but that is to be expected because you always win something but even then the prices were fair. I could spend all of the coins on gachapons alone but I tried my best to stick to claw machines. 😅
The employees are attentive without being overbearing and that is hard to come by in businesses including food service. One of the ladies even showed me how one of the machines is supposed to be played because she noticed I was looking at it for awhile. I appreciate that.
She, also, reset a machine 3 times because my bf kept managing to get the plush stuck in the corner. 😅 That was very kind of her to do.
I will, definitely, go back and will continue to suggest people go here for family fun or...
