Great Wall — Restaurant in Edmond

Yesterday I was "asked to leave" a place of business. I waited until today to post about it so that I could be calm.

Aubrey and I love Chinese food. We have been ordering from Uber Eats from a particular Chinese place on a very regular basis....so regular that I would estimate our monthly usage to be at least $300 if not more.

We were out and about yesterday and thought what a treat it would be to actually finally go to our favorite place for the first time and actually eat there. We were excited.

So we finally found it...it was quite a hole in the wall kind of place...and took quite a bit of hunting. We went in and ordered our favorite dumplings and Aubrey's favorite low mein and an egg roll for me. We ordered at a front counter and I told the lady the order was "for here".

It was a tiny place, but there was a couple of tables tucked away behind some chairs. We went around the chairs and sat down at a table. A lady came in a picked up some delivery orders. The man from the back glared at us as he brought the sacks to the driver. After she left he came back and put a sack on the counter and said to us "Here is your food. We no eat here. Only take out".I asked where that was posted. He said he didn't need to as everyone knew. I told him I had been a delivery Customer for over a year and spend over $300 a month...every month...and this was the first time I had come in...I did not know. He threw my bag to me and told me to leave. I told him I would do everything possible to spread the word on how awful his customer service was....and I left. This was The Great Wall @ 3325 S. Some of the best sesame & honey chicken we’ve had since being in Oklahoma. We haven’t had the best of luck finding a good Chinese take out in Edmond but this was the best so far for chicken. We ordered the sesame, honey and general tsos chicken, all were delicious, 5/5.

We’ve had better chicken fried rice but it wasn’t the worst, 4/5. Their chicken egg rolls & spring rolls were 3/5. Their chicken lo mein was 5/5. We ordered delivery from their website, took about 40mins to arrive and the food still arrived hot. They did accidentally gave us a coke instead of a Pepsi 2 liter but honestly that wasn’t that big of a deal. Over all, we definitely recommend.... even for just...
