The venue is generally wonderful with a great variety of acts/performers. The seats are abundant but small and extremely packed together, which is nearly impossible for a tall, broad, or plus size person to enjoy comfortably. There are a few floor level handicap accessible seats. The staff is kind, but the bartender can have explosive anger. If you do speak up well enough you may be misheard. I ordered a specific type of a drink, which she misheard and placed the wrong beverage open in front of me. She got mad and refused to accept that she could have misheard me, insisting that I never said it. I apologized and even tried to concede that I there was a chance I didn’t say the name right just to alleviate her continual snapping at me, except it didn’t work. Read moreThis is a hidden secret and I'd like to keep it that way. It only seats 330 people including the balcony. It's a great concert venue with many quality bands and shows. Some of the musicians are in the Rock & Roll hall of fame!
Seats are padded and have a cup holder for your beverage of choice. Not a bad seat in the house! Great acoustics. I've been to 50+ concerts at this venue in the past.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Beer and wine are available and non-alcohol beverages as well. Popcorn and traditional theatre sweets are available also.
The bands typically meet and greet after a show and offer their CDs, t-shirts, etc.
It's in downtown Edwardsville and a short walking distance to nearby...

The staff, every last one of them, was professional, friendly, and on point from beginning to end. Drink prices were really reasonable, too. Six dollars for a "glass" of red wine. And, speaking of glass, I asked if they had any canned water, and the bartender said they didn't, but they had bottled water I told her I was trying to stay away from bottled water and she offered to give me tap water. Who does that?! I was so super impressed by the level of service. Customer service is one of the things that is lacking in our culture and the Wildey Theater has...
