Just visited Otherside Games to purchase our starter kit of Magic: The Gathering! Our son and his wife play this and we want to be able to play with them when they visit. We are complete newbies but Alex (the owner) was very patient with us, explaining the basic ins and outs and helping us to choose our cards and pieces. He did not try to up sell us and his pricing was on point with what our kids said they should be. The store is clean, well stocked, and had a nice area for group play with several tables. Can't believe I haven't reviewed this store before. Absolutely incredible spot for dnd, mtg, Warhammer, boardgames, etc. Couldn't ask for a friendlier staff. The store is always clean, well organized and accessible. The owner even goes out of his way to constantly keep new and interesting things in the store. Not to mention that the overall vibe of this place is very positive and not intimidating. I've made lifelong friends here and wish I could still visit more, but when I do it always feels like...
