There’s nothing better than entertaining your kids, especially on hot days when peeling them off the couch and ripping them from their beloved Minecraft is like exorcising demons (sound effects and all), and the splash park is one of those places that they begrudgingly tell you they’re happy you took them once they’re done frolicking and are now dropping in your back seat. Take your kids there, specifically if they’re under the age of 10. Best of all, it’s free!! Come early if you want a table under the shade, or just stand around awkwardly in the vicinity until someone leaves. There’s plenty of tables, but not all of them are shaded and they fill up fairly quickly. Read moreWe took the kiddos on a picnic and this little park was adorable! They had loads of fun on the playground - which, the floor of it was made of an interesting bouncy-ish material. My father had hip problems and he said his hip didn’t hurt while he was standing on it. Very interesting!
The only minor inconvenience was that the public bathrooms were closed, but it wasn’t a big deal for us.
