⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you know, you know. And if you don’t—get yourself to Ed’s Delicatessen ASAP. The vibe is clean, cool, and welcoming from the moment you walk in, and the food? Absolute fire. 🔥 I’ve had the banh mi, and let me tell you… it is phenomenal. Perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and that bread? Chef’s kiss. But let’s talk about the real MVP: Andrew at the bar. Not only is he friendly and knowledgeable, but he’s also a total cocktail wizard. 🍸 He made me a custom drink that was exactly what I didn’t know I needed—fresh, layered, and absolutely delicious. Just tell him what you’re into and let him work his magic. Also loved the curated wine and cocktail menu, cozy sidewalk seating, and the interior that gives downtown deli-meets-modern speakeasy vibes. 📍222 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL Follow me for more STL & Metro East finds! #TheSassySaint #CocktailQueen #BanhMiMagic #EdwardsvilleEats

Such a great addition to the downtown area! A friend and I went in for lunch on a Thursday and were sat right away. They have sit down service and takeaway. The prices are more than your typical sandwich shop, but the quality justifies the price. We got the fried bologna and chicken salad sandwich to split, then upgraded to the Brussels and cucumber salads. Everything was amazing!! You can tell how much care was put into every single menu item. Our server was kind and made sure our drink was filled. This was the perfect semi-casual lunch spot. Highly recommend!

Ed’s needs to be at the top of your list to try ASAP! The sandwiches are huge and pack a full punch of so much delicious flavor! I ordered the Reuben, my friends ordered the Turkey on Focaccia & Roast Beef sandwich and they were all AMAZING! For sides we got the cucumber salad and olive salads.. def recommend everything on the menu! Important tip: save room for dessert The staff was super helpful and service was very fast. The ambiance is very welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

I don’t live here, just traveling. I stopped here because the last and first time I was in Edwardsville, there was a delicious bakery in this location. I decided to try Ed’s anyway. What a great decision. I came here to say the pickle spear that just comes with the sandwich was ASTONISHING. Clearly homemade, beautifully pickled with such refreshing but warm spices. I love pickles, but can be particular about them. Just wow. This pickle was review worthy. I’ll be going back for another. The sandwich was great. I had the tuna. Didn’t reinvent the wheel, but the bread was notably great sandwich bread and there were subtle peppers in the sandwich that made it special. ….Then there’s the carrot cake. It caught my eye in the glass case, because upon first and second glance I wasn’t sure what it was. I then read the sign and the very helpful and kind lady further explained it was deconstructed. I’m a sucker… and got it, but left it in the fridge and came back to it later this evening. Holy cow. This is OUTSTANDING and solidified my need to give Ed’s a review. Wonderful staff and wonderfully fresh and...

You get so much food, and it's so good! I had the falafel burger with the broccoli soup of the day, and my partner had the roasted beet Ruben with a half wedge salad (the half salad was still fully loaded and a large portion). Both of us were super happy with the quality and quantity of food. I ate most of my 'burger' and took my soup to go. My partner (he's a big eater) ate his half salad and half of his sandwich, and took the rest to go. Everything was just so good. Both the blue cheese and the feta on our sandwiches was top notch. The falafel in mine was perfectly cooked with the yummy slightly crusty outside. All sauces and condiments were top notch as well. The overall vibe is clean and easy. There's a large bar to eat at our a few smaller tables. We sat at the bar. The drink menu looks really good with some nice takes on your standard cocktails like the old fashioned and sangria. Nice beer and limited wine list too. We both also got dessert to go, tres leches with peach jam and a lemon bar, which I cannot wait to try later tonight when I'm less...
