I hope you're doing well. I would like to share a concern regarding the quality of the bread I've been receiving from your store. It seems that the person responsible for baking the bread may not have enough experience, as the bread is often overcooked or burnt.

Each time I placed an order, I kindly asked the person taking the call to inform the baker to prepare the bread properly. Unfortunately, the issue continued, and the bread quality did not improve.

Because of this ongoing problem, I’ve decided to start purchasing bread from another nearby store. I won’t mention their name out of respect, but I wanted to let you know directly in case it helps improve your service.

I’m not leaving a negative review or reducing your star rating because I appreciate your service otherwise. However, I believe if you want to keep your customers satisfied and loyal, it’s important to address this issue with the person who bakes the bread.

I had an incredible experience stopping by Afghan food market. I took my mom and aunts on a weekend getaway to San Diego and found this place on TikTok (of all places). When I saw they served Sheer Yakh I knew I had to take my family to get a taste of their homeland.

We ordered Bolani, Sheer Yakh and FRESH bread.

I read the reviews about the wait, which to us, didn’t matter. As an Afghan, I know the hard work and time that goes into to making the cuisine. Everything was made to order with fresh ingredients.

The woman working was very kind and attentive. We were short a few breads for purchase, which she immediately made us the amount we needed.

The gentleman working made delicious Sheer Yakh and provided great customer service.

Really it was 10 stars. For everybody wondering, yes it is the real authentic handmade sheeryakh exactly like in Kabul with generous portions. They add real housemade qaimaq and pistachios as well. I can finally share something with my children exactly how I used to have it growing up. The fresh bread is amazing the best ive had in America far better than any other market.
