I entered this Marshalls with minimal hopes, but I was shocke d and appaulled to see fake Nike Blazers in the shoe aisle. I immidietly knew it was to goood to be true with the price tag of just $29.99, for a shoe that retails for over $110. I noticed the glue used to attach the sole of the shoe was messily misplaced. The stitching was uneven and the "leather" felt like plastic. It smelled of inexpensive gasoline and there seemed to be pen marks on the bottom and side of the shoes. A rubbery solution was found on the bottom of the shoe. On the back, the words "NIKE" where stiched unevenly. The toung seemed to made out of some type of foam. One of the biggest red flags, is that it was made in the WRONG COUNTRY, being Indonesia. Of course, nothing can compare to the fact, that the shoe, being a red Nike Blazer with a red Swoosh was non-existant in our deep research. The only model that looked even remotely like it was being sold by a shady Ebay seller. I am very upset and simply just disapointed to see fake shoes at a prominent retailer. I would not even consider entering this establishment again until they both stop selling fake shoes and apoligize for trying to scam...
Read moreLet's be real people. It's a friggin' MARSHALLS OK?! If you can fog a mirror held under your nose, you can get a job here. They aren't sending their employees to "Customer Service University"; so stop holding them to the same standards as Jos. A Bank or Bloomingdales. So... can all the divas leaving 1 star reviews just STOP already??? The appael of this place is the discount prices. That's it and that's all. If the planets align and you happen to find something you want in your size (1 chance in 5 on average), you can score it for cheap. I got a pair of jeans and a nice long sleeve knit shirt today for $23 out the door. No employee ask if they could help me find anything or whipped out a measuring tape to help me find my size - nor did I expect them to. If I want my ego stroked, I'll go to Men's Warehouse. TIP - Sunday is the best day to shop at this location. That is when the selection is the best. The security guard told me that and I have observed his advice is...
Read moreI never had shopped at Marshall's until a few months ago. I was surprised to find a miscellaneous collection of kitchen and dining room appliances and tools at very good prices. It sort of a treasure hunt.. Do you need a new small kitchen appliance today or can you wait a bit .. If you can wait and don't mind visiting the store another time for that special item then Marshall's might be the place for you. Especially if you believe Ben Franklin " a penny saved is a penny earned " Saving 10-20 or more dollars off retail on new items is easy to do when shopping at Marshall. Every Marshall store I have shopped at has had a large parking lot always a plus. The line for the registers moves along quickly . There seems to be enough cashiers so the checkout line isn't all the way to the back of the store. Some ... of everything.. Gardening tools ..pet supplies.. Clothing ..shoes.. specialty foods... you won't know all you can find unless you...
