Really, really, really bad customer service. They sent us the wrong lampshade, we contacted them and they said they would send us a new one. I told them that we paid fast shipping for it because we needed it asap for a wedding gift we made. They responded with "oh, well things happen." Not a good response to a paying customer in which they made the order mistake on. I asked if they could overnight ship it or at least give us some sort of discount and she replied with "Sure, I can refund you your money and you can send back the lamp shade we sent you." I asked if they were still going to send me the lampshade that we originally ordered. She said "No." I was appalled. I paid for an item, in which they got wrong and they were just not even going to fix their mistake. I told them if this is how they treat their customers I do not want to purchase from them in the future. Then we somehow got settled on them POSSIBLY giving me 20% off the lampshade depending on what the manger said. I was okay with that. Then later I receive an email from them stating..."it is not worth it to us to take the risk of shipping you our product." Like hello, we just want the lampshade that we originally ordered and some type of discount for their mistake...something any good business would do. I then responded politely saying I didn't understand and that I would still like the lampshade we originally paid for. And they responded again saying sorry that is not possible. I was so polite during all of the this. I never treated the sales rep with disrespect or anger. But I will NEVER shop with them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. Read moreTerrible customer service. I ordered an item to be shipped to my daughter. I thoroughly read through the website , especially the shipping and return policy and information. I ordered the item because of the shipping policy. It turns out that a signature is required at delivery. No where on their site did it state that , nor did it state that at check out . I would have mailed it to a different address had that been known as my daughter is an essential employee and would not be home to sign for a package. (I could have shipped it to her job) I called customer service about this and they refused to do anything about it. There were a few options that could have been implemented, but they refused. I was told it had to be sent back to them by the shipper then they would reship to a different address for free . So this item was bouncing around a fedex truck for days as Fedex continued to attempt delivery.A piece of pottery. I see now they have added signature may be required to their website.(Something a previous reviewer had happen when they had a problem. They went and changed the website) I have no problem with signature being required. I actually think it's a good policy. But a policy that should be clear to customers before ordering. Mission Del Rey is a deceitful and untrustworthy company. I purchased an "authentic" Navaho Wedding Vase which I used for a wedding ceremony. NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE DID THIS COMPANY EXPLAIN THE VASE WAS FOR DECORATION ONLY. After 15 mins of holding water the clay disintegrated, leaked on the groom and the vase was broken into pieces. It is built for ceremonial activity and it is a VASE. When I made a complaint, they were rude and customer service was terrible. As I submitted a claim, they suddenly marked an out of stock item on their website for decorative use only. This was not on any website or paperwork received. They are NOT TRUSTWORTHY, RUDE AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND BOYCOTTING THIS COMPANY.
