Update: Decided it was time to go back and visit once again. This experience was worlds different than the last. I am updating because of the great selection, quality and service we received today. We knew that we wanted to revisit at some point because of the initial hype and business that they were drawing. I understand how opening a new business can present many difficult challenges, one that is most important, staffing. Trying to get so many people on the same page is a difficult task and many things can suffer because of it. Today the vibe when we walked in was FANTASTIC and so was the selection. Many of the crew took some time to speak to us about different options and I even picked up a T-shirt for next time. Can't wait to back and visit. If you have experienced a challenging situation on a previous visit, I hope that you go back and give them another chance. I think that you will be happy. Thank you to all of the crew that were there today and making us feel loved and appreciated. It is unfortunate that our visit today was not the best. We visited about a week ago and was a different experience. Today the displays are 70% - 80% empty. We decided to get a half dozen of the choices they had. Unfortunately the quality of the donuts we picked are not good. So far one had burnt taste, one was overly dry. I fortunately got a maple bacon that just came out and it was good. Side story, got to the register to pay and asked them about a fritter that we bought the week before. I asked them if it was meant to be salty in the middle, which was kind off putting. That way I know if I might want to get in the future. The young lady that I asked just told me “I don’t know but we also have strawberry ones but we are out of”. I kept my comments in my head but I wondered what that had to do with my original question. Unfortunately today was not a good experience. It is also an experience that will keep us from going back anytime soon. I know that they are still in the opening stage and are still getting their footing but it just felt disorganized and not friendly today. If and when we do, I will update my review.

I walked into a very bright place, and place that was alive with color and a bright pink and sparkly floor, that bought a good vibe for the case full of a huge variety of different donut flavors! I was very excited, first because of my dairy allergy, I have not had a donut in over 15 years so you can imagine my excitement when I learned Hurts Donuts has a small variety of Dairy and gluten free Donuts! First disappointment, they were smaller compared to the other regular donuts they sell. Second disappointment, the dairy and gluten free donuts can not be included in the half dozen or dozen box price, they have to be purchased separately, and you pay a higher per donut price than their bigger, regular donuts! Third disappointment, they were SUPER dry!!!! AND , the taste did not match the hefty $3 per donut price! I would say they tasted horrible! I can’t imagine with all the different variety of non-dairy milks, Hurts Donuts has not replaced regular milk with a creamy oat milk in their recipes, which would offer a softer bite than the variety of non dairy, gluten free donuts they are selling now which are drier and have the texture of a sponge. We paid $30.85 for a half dozen donuts and three dairy and gluten free donuts!!! Their regular donuts, which by the way, did not taste like the price they are selling them for, $25 for a dozen! Our lemon filled donuts barely had any lemon filling and the other donuts did not taste their price they are selling for and three dairy and gluten free donuts!!! I added a photo of my dairy and gluten free donut and you can see from the photo, it was so dry, it fell apart when I took a bite out of it! It hurt to buy donuts from Hurts Donuts today!

Been waiting all month for this place to open to try it and finally got the chance today! The staff I encountered were friendly and professional, we got a dozen donuts and picked out the fruity pebble, s’mores, Andes mint, peanut butter cup, Twix, snickers, white birthday cake, cotton candy, Cotten candy 2.0, Oreo cheesecake, Cookie Monster and strawberry filled. The box weights about 4 pounds, these donuts are not only big in size but hefty too. You can feel the weight when holding them, you are definitely getting your moneys worth with these as one is probably equal to the weight or 3 Dunkin or Krispy Kreme. So far I have only tried the fruity pebble out of my dozen but can already taste the quality. The donut itself is thick but it’s soft, not as light and airy as other donuts which I think Is what gives it that hefty weight and I don’t mind it all. It feels closer to eating a slice of cake. These donuts are definitely more on the dessert side rather than breakfast side, I mean that should be given when you look at them, candy isn’t normally eaten for breakfast lol. I also had gotten an iced s’mores latte and it was actually better than the one from Starbucks! I can’t wait to go back and try their other offerings
