Exceptional customer service. If you are in this store, ask for Abby, Abigail, Aby (same person, not sure of the spelling of the name). Today my son (adult with special needs) and I walked into the store. We were in the store for about 1 1/2 hours. My son is a meticulous individual and he tried on about eight different pairs of jeans. He walked backed and forth between different brands (across the store from wall to wall). He came out of the dressing room one by one, checking himself in the mirror. Miss Abby, stood patiently waiting to assist in a moment’s notice tending to my son. Once my son completed the pants portion of his outfit, he then moved onto his shirt. Miss Abby, grabbed about 5-7 shirts and brought them to the dressing room, again meeting my son’s needs and tending to his style. While my son was fitting for a shirt, Miss Abby provided information about the stores alterations services. Our family has shopped at this store previously and this was new information to us. This is a service we will most likely use. Once, my son finished trying on and finding the “perfect” shirt, he said he wanted a belt. Ms. Abby, walked him back and recommended a few belts and then allowed him to choose his own style. She dropped his other items at the front so we didn’t have to carry the items around throughout the store (good call). When we were by the belts, I saw some ariat slippers, and because she was so attentive (and because I didn’t have anything in my hands) I figured I’d spend some money and purchased the slippers for my husband. Once my son found the one pair of pants, one shirt, and one belt, Ms. Abby walked us to the front of store with our items ready. My son and I were so thankful and appreciative of her service. THIS IS THE KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT IS MISSING FROM OUR STORES THESE DAYS. Friendly, individualistic, patient, over the top, and meeting the customer’s wants/needs. Additionally, as we were leaving, the checkout employees were nice,,,, we even asked for the managers to provide the feedback… we didn’t get any names…HOWEVER… THEY WERE WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY ALSO. Read moreI like the store but love the great customer service Destiny has rendered us. Last weekend 10/4 we stopped by to look for some items our son needed for a Quince that he was going to be in.. Destiny took her time showing him different items and showed him many options (purchased Cowboy hat, shirts and pants). My husband and I weren't looking, but ended up with a couple of bags full of merchandise (jeans and shirts). Today 10/11, we went by to kill some time at the mall, went by Starr Western Wear and we were greeted by Destiny. We mentioned we were just looking and once again she went over and beyond and helped if m us. There was a couple of items we found that we were interested in, but the Sunland store didn't have them in our sizes. Destiny called the other stores to check their inventory. Once again, we came out with 3 pairs of boots and clothing (mind you we weren't looking). Destiny has proven that she is great at what she does, is knowledgeable in the merchandise she sells, she goes over and beyond to make the customer happy, speaks highly and is proud to work at Starr Western Wear. She has won our heart and our business. The staff and management (Sandra) at Starr Western Wear are the best from all the rest.

Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. I pretty much go to all the Star Western Wears that are in El Paso, TX. So today I came to the one here in Sunland park because I was looking for a hat. Usually when you walk into a Star Western Wear the staff will approach you immediately & offer to help, but today the staff was very busy and that includes the woman who was the security guard. 20 minutes I waited for help and the staff were just laughing & talking. So I went & told them I have been walking around looking at hats for 20 minutes & none of you have offered to come help me, but yet you guys are laughing & having a good time. I told them they are very unprofessional and shame on you. Hopefully Star Western Wear can go through the cameras & see what they are paying their staff to do and it’s obviously not work.
