Le French Touch — Restaurant in El Paso

I work for DoorDash, and I have never experienced customer service as terrible as what I received from the two owners of this establishment.

The one male owner with the French accent was extremely rude and ignored me when I asked what the status of our order was and would make comments under his breath, speak over me, and raise his voice. While me and my partner were at the counter assuming our order was ready, the male said to us “you guys can leave now” and gave us a very blatant, unwelcoming attitude. We were confused and proceeded to tell him kindly we would wait for the order and asked him how many orders were in front of ours which is not unreasonable. He refused to work with us or tell us any information about our order and body language very much aggravated despite how kind we were about the very long wait. I asked the owner to keep his professionalism intact and that seemed to make him more visibly angry. He started to ask appalling questions like “how old are you” as if to demean me and then would only speak to my boyfriend and refer to me as only “lady”. As a woman I felt very disempowered by this man’s behavior.

The second female owner had come over and seen this dispute. We had told her that we are upset with the way we were treated. I told her that we would just like to get the order and leave at this point. Me and my boyfriend informed her that she should apologize for the poor customer service of the other owner. Her response to this was that WE the customers were the ones who needed to apologize to their business and that I needed to talk to her “woman to woman”. After this, I had set my boundary that I didn’t want to talk to these negative people any longer, they needed to stop harassing us and leave us alone, and if they refused to give us the order or diffuse the situation we would leave. She removed us from the restaurant with security because both owners were unable to apologize about the very long wait which was about 40 minutes (due to their staff apparently walking out on them is what she told us), the lack of professionalism and their short tempers with customers. I suppose it was easier to remove us than to have decent service skills and basic professionalism.

This company and these owners are absolute trash and don’t care about the quality of their service or how they treat people. They are on a power trip and think they have no consequences for how they treat customers just because they are the owners. I would NEVER come here and support this business. As a local business how dare they treat their customers and community with no regards and respect. No wonder they have a high turnover rate for employees! I can only imagine how they treat their own staff. The owners of this establishment found my information and blocked me on Instagram because they are so worried about their...

The owner is French and the food is absolutely delicious. It feels like a French cafe in the mall. I worked in pizza for 10 years and can say that it is on par with quality pizzas. The only other place that had pizzas close to this French pizza are the Italian pizzas at Ardovino's.

The crepes were also delicious! They are sweet crepes although I am sure if you ask her can do savory. He is French after all. The only other place here that I have tried that serves a decent crêpe is the La Madeleine.

I would recommend dough perforation a little. Some bubbles were really big. As far as flavor, all ingredients were so fresh and the olive oil just makes it taste so much better. Will be going here again...

We were in town from las cruces and decided to try their pizza at the encouragement of patrons next to us who were sitting and eating. They said this pizza tasted better than the pizza they had in Italy, so we couldn’t say no to trying and boy, were we impressed! We were able to customize our pizza, and were both happy with our sides, the toppings were generous, the pizza dough was delicious and crispy and the cheese just melted in your mouth! Definitely worth the trip, hype and price!! It also looked like Paul was working everything himself which we were in disbelief of! Truly a one man show....
