Best consignment store I've ever been in! I had a lot of unwanted clothes that I had accumulated and decided to sell my clothes here.

Walked in on Saturday at 11:30 am and was quickly helped by the friendly employee. She explained to me how the selling process worked, and told me it would be about a 3 to 4 hour wait, or that I had three days to come back and pick up my unwanted items.

In the meantime I looked around and was surprised to see how organized and clean the store was. The store itself did not have the "thrift store" smell that all the other consignment stores that I have been in have. I found some cute items that I decided to buy. I found a cute swimsuit for $12 and a nice dress shirt that I found in the clearance section for the hubs for $1.75!!!! Yes!! They also have clearance sections and the clothing items that are there have a percent discount on top of the already cheap prices!!!

They ended up buying 36 of my clothing items and I had the option of store credit or cash. They were giving me $105 in store credit and $85 cash..

I'm very happy with the great customer service, how easy the selling process is, and how clean the store was. There are a ton of name brand items here and the quality is great!

I had a very disappointing experience at Uptown Cheapskate. I left several high-quality items for them to evaluate, including a pair of brand-new boots, a $200 dress, and a vintage Liz Claiborne top. Their offer was $13 for everything, which I declined.

However, when I returned to get my items, I discovered they had already put them up for sale without my consent. Despite my protests, staff repeatedly told me I couldn’t take my items back, which was completely unacceptable. I had to go find my things on the sales floor myself, and unfortunately, I was unable to locate my vintage top. On top of everything, the staff got rid of the box where the boots were, dropping their value and validity.

Honestly the only reason I keep on coming back is because I actually like the quality of the clothes I find and the prices, most of the time are pretty reasonable. However, I've been to the store three times already and every single time the employees there are SO rude. It makes me so uncomfortable to shop there, the dirty looks they give you and the manner in which they answer when you ask questions is so horrible. The last time I was there they basically kicked me out of the store an hour before closing time and kept giving me dirty looks when I told them I just wanted to browse the store for a little longer. Most specifically it was this girl near the changing rooms that I've seen every time I've been there.
