Absolutely horrible. I had had my son pick me up food from there four times previously. It never had enough sauce on the falafel and the pita bread was hard on the edges but I love Greek food and I put up with it. Also, the strawberry smoothie was good. The last time my son went to get me food I asked for extra sauce on the side which they charged me for but didn't give me. The bread was hard again but I can get over that. What I couldn't get over is there being at least a cup of salt in what I believed was about a 16 oz strawberry smoothie. When my son called the young woman said that only the mango tasted salty. He tried to explain to her that this wasn't normal salty this was extreme salty and maybe they put salt in instead of the sugar. Whoever the man was in charge got on the phone and instead of an apologizing said he would discuss it the next time my son was in. My son told him that I was on chemo and hardly ever have an appetite and this is a big deal to me. He also told him it made me violently il. The least they could do was replace the Damned Falafel and smoothie. For $16 you would expect it to be at least edible and drinkable. The fact that they didn't give a care made it even worse. My son refused to even go there now and drive clear across town to pick up Greek food when I want it or just gets me Thai food in the neighborhood. It's unfortunate because I live very close to this place but because of some lousy food and a lousy service I absolutely do not recommend it to anybody. My son will eat absolutely anything and thought this was terrible and agreed with me he couldn't even taste one tablespoon of the Smoothie because it was so incredibly salty. He said he was the only person in there at that time so how could they have made such a grievous error and such...
Read moreI hardly write reviews, much less negative ones, but my experience was so disappointing that I had to. I also do not complain about service because I do not think service should reflect the rating you give a restaurant....it should be all about the food. Even though the thought is unfathomable, the service WAS actually worse than the food. Anyway, my supplier invited me to dinner. He is Lebanese, so he wanted to take me to have middle eastern food. If it wasnt for the fact that he is so polite, we would have returned every dish we were served. After we paid, I found it necessary to tell the waitress that our food was terrible and none of it was brought out the way we asked; her reaction was just like the quality of food; it didnt matter to them. I know its El Paso, but if someone asks for medium rare, you should at least try to get close... not well, VERY, well done. Everything else was just bland. My supplier was embarrassed to have insisted taking me there, but he is not from here, so it is hardly any of his fault. Now he is determined to take me to an authentic middle eastern restaurant in an effort to vindicate his intentions. The dishes were prepared in some of the worst fashions I've ever seen in my life, to the extent that it was literally shameful, not only to the middle east, but to the entire culinary world as we know it. I truly hope this changes because El Paso needs diversity when it comes to food, But if this is what we have to look forward to, then lets stick with the crappy Mexican food we are subjected to. I would rather eat food out of the dumpster of Chicos than...
Read moreWe were a party of 9, including 2 children, for a late lunch on Monday with only 1 other table occupied with a party of 2. Lentil soup was spoiled (can't believe the manager didn't come out to apologize for this as the soup was sour and had clearly gone bad), we weren't asked what we wanted as a replacement so we were just given another salad despite already sharing our salads. When we asked if we could get more hummus instead of the soup the waitress says "no". 😲 She said she removed the extra soups (ordered individually) from our tab but I can't believe she said no. (Should've said that she removed the individual soups but would be happy to add the hummus if that's what we wanted.). Chicken kabobs lacked flavor and the kafta kabobs were overcooked and charred. Then to top it off the waitress was refilling water cups while reaching across in front of my father-in-law, she wasn't paying attention and totally missed the cup putting water all over the table. Then she didn't even help to clean up all the spilled water. Felt like she thought it was our fault she spoiled it or something. 😒 If I had paid the bill (brother-in-law paid) I don't think I would've given her a tip (except maybe she should consider a different job if this is her regular level of customer service). Noticed a help wanted poster on the window, maybe that explains some of the issues, but was really disappointed with our experience this time around. Hoping they assess the issues and get them fixed- normally this is a nice place for...
