Smash Juicy Burgers — Restaurant in El Paso

After driving by this place for what seems almost a year, finally seeing NOW OPEN, I wish we would have kept on driving. We went thru the drive thru as we were on our lunch break. We looked at the menu and it is divided into three sections, Burgers, Juicy Cheese options which includes adding cheese, bacon or green hatch Chile with extra charges. The third is fries with juicy cheese options and Shakes. There was no options for combo meals, everything ordered was a la cart, which adds up very fast. I guess with the name of Smash Juicy Burgers or Juicy Smash Burgers, which everone is correct you should expect everything to be juicy. We ordered two crispy chicken sandwiches and one double burger. We asked for hatch green Chile to be added, because it was on the menu with extra charges and were told we could not add it. We proceeded to add fries, one frie order with original juicy cheese sauce and two shakes and a diet coke which turned out to be a 20 oz bottled soda for $3.25. The cashier seemed frustrated already and it was only 11:45 and the restaurant just opened up at 11:00 am. The shakes were water down and the fries were cold. The juicy cheese sauce well let's just say the cheese sauce at gas stations had way more better consistency than their juicy cheese sauce. All in all, nothing seemed acceptable and the restaurant did not seem it should be open, as you could see the complete staff arguing with each other. How on a grand openingis not one thing a positive note. By the way food for three right at $50. My take, keep on driving, so not...

So the long awaited opening of Smash Juicy Burger has finally come! And boy what a disappointment. Having seen the now open signed I was excited to see something new to the mesa/UTEP food area! Once pulled up to the drive thru, the menu seems pretty straight forth untill you see these prices... When ordering I asked if I could have hatch chili on my chicken burger, I was simply told "no". After an awkward pause, I pulled up to the drive thru window, here I was greeted by a young girl who looked bothered to be working mid day on a Friday afternoon. She took my card and closed the window. What followed after was her making two milk shakes and placing them on the counter... having waited 14 minutes, our food was ready. We got our food and our milk Juicy shakes and left. Once at my work place lunch room, we noticed our shakes were a watery mess and our fries were colder than our shakes... The burgers are just a sloppy wet mess and we're not very appealing, I guess this is where they are juicy? The chicken sandwich was smaller than the average palm. At this point, we figured out paying $50 dollars for 3 sandwiches, 3 fries and 3 drinks for the size we got was NOT a good deal...

Service? It is a fast food restaurant, there is no good or bad service. Food, the salt and vinegar fries are good, but just the top ones because it doesn't have that many salt, the fries on the bottom extremely salty. Hot dog, taste it like a hot dog you get at a bday party no flavor. Menu said chili is there thing, homemade and tasteful but the chili taste it like they opened a can and heat it up until it got dry and flavorless. The hot dogs at circle K taste a lot better and you can also toppings, it better to put gas and get a hot dog. Don't get hot dogs here.Sodas were warm even when they where in the fridge asked for some ice, they don't have ice. Maybe having a warm soda in the fall season but not right now. The burger need it a little bit of salt, there was nothing that made me think I would love to order another burger here again. There was nothing that would make a burger outstanding it was just a regular burger. Food was disappointing. I prefer to support local places but go to any fast food place and food would taste better. I was excited about going to this place, big disappointment. There is nothing outstanding besides the name. The thing that I enjoyed was the music. Really...
