Went for a concert that we paid $300 for, it was for our 7 year anniversary. We arrived and the only open parking spot was where you pay to park, which was fine. We arrived 15 minutes early. There isn't a parking attendant, only 2 machines where you insert your cash or card and put the ticket in your window. The line was outrageous at both machines. We waited in line for 30 minutes! We arrived at the machine and a guy who works there said he had to update the machine. It was already 15 minutes after the concert started and we were upset but waited since we had no choice. He updated the machine from $2 to $10. People behind us were yelling and taking pictures of the guy changing the price. He then taped a piece of paper over the $2 on the sign that said $10. We had grabbed $2 from our car in cash so my husband had to run to the car and grab the card as we didn't have a $10 bill, all while people are waiting behind us in line and of course the concert is going on. We finally paid and ran to put the ticket in the car window. The parking lot is not dirrctly in front of the building so we still had to run to the building. We get inside the building and we asked where our seats were and went to the door they told us. We get there and are told since we're towards the front we had to go down to a different door all while the concert is playing. I get to the other door and I can't find anyone to help, finally we get to our seats after waiting for like 10 minutes. By this time we've missed at least 30-35 minutes of the concert and part of the story. After the concert I tried speaking to someone about the parking lot incident and they told me "what do you want us to do about it? That's not us" Ugh $300 for this concert, thank God the concert was good but now I know what to expect from this horrible event center. The website does not mention any of...
Read moreI've seen many great concerts here however the last concert I went to was the Foo Fighters while it was a good show I had problems with the bag check I understand the clear bag policy is for safety reasons however the size policy is pretty ridiculous phone, keys, wallet, makeup, tickets, do not fit in a small clutch size clear bag I always have to make sure I bring my cargo pants with big pockets to shows because to even find that sized clear bag is pretty hard first it was small bags and/or clear now it's clear bags that HAVE to be small yall just getting lazy and Dont want to do bag checks anymore even football stadiums allow clear bags that are atleast double the size the guard showed me with a card he held up in addition to that it's SO HOT IN THERE like yall to cheap to use your AC or did it break because it's old and you don't want to fix it. Lastly they did not let my mom in because yes she did bring in a bag that's was clear tinted pattern bag which I get is not allowed its hard for me to get her to listen BUT at the Sunbowl for Motley Crue they miraculously let her in with the same bags but like seriously yall should be enforcing the rules at all times NOT JUST SOMETIMES whenever you see fit. because I did see people in the arena with big regular bags. lastly when Sunland Park builds their concert venue maybe most concerts will be scheduled their instead if I could avoid this arena for concerts and in general I would 100% would after your guards wishy washy attitudes. Seeing my next concert Journey in Las Cruces at Pan American Center and after checking their bag policy not as strict as this arenas I know the impact of these reviews since I work in a restaurant so I REALLY HOPE your rating goes down because of...
