El Paso and more specifically Mesa Street offer a huge variety of different ethnic foods to choose from. The Tom Yom Gung at Singapore Cafe is the very best I have ever had and I’ve traveled throughout Southeast Asia and have eaten it in many countries with their own spin. Here at Singapore it comes with big pieces of shrimp and the perfect amount of spices. The restaurant has a lot of parking, it is clean and open space. The employees are very welcoming and knowledgeable of their menu. I will definitely be visiting again in the very near future.

Fantastic spot! They offer a smorgasbord of delectable dishes from across the Asian continent. Where else can you order Korean Bal-Gogi, Filipino Lumpia, and Vietnamese Pho? Why not wash it down with a tasty Thai Tea? This is THE designated Asian spot in El Paso. The service is phenomenal. Our waiter Brendan was attentive and courteous. He knows every detail of the menu. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for anybody who values creative Asian cuisine loaded with fresh ingredients. Singapore Cafe is a must!

08/07/2021 - Really surprised - service person was very good. Food is great. Tried the Spicy Ayam Pedals - more sweet than spicy. Green Chilli Chicken was more like Tom Yam soup and Prawn noodles was tasty. The curry comes with rice and is value for money. The quantity is big enough. The noodle was tasty. The pancake reminded me of Singapore prata and was tasty.

I have been dining at the Singapore for years - almost exclusively for dinner and rarely for lunch (so I can't comment on the lunch menu). I have experienced a steady decline in the service, quality, and freshness of the food. Their spring rolls - have become rubbery and tasteless as often as not - a far cry from years ago when they would take your breath away every time. They must be made within a few hours of consumption and it is apparent that they are being made days earlier and stored.

Two nights ago, we had a large party for my wife and - for the FIRST time - I got sick from the food (the beef bulkogi). I noted that it was barely warm when served. The spring rolls were rubbery and tasteless, the rice was not hot, etc. The staff did not keep our water glasses filled, etc.

I did not see the proprietress, either -- "when the cat's away, the mice play". She needs to fire some people and find someone competent to run the show when she is gone as it is NOT working at this time.

I hope the lunch crowd has had a better experience lately. It is a TERRIBLE disappointment to us as this could be a top restaurant for Thai food in the area and - for that matter - in the state.

When the Singapore Cafe is good -it's truly outstanding and world class but, lately, it is becoming hit or miss. I hope the proprietress will make some needed changes. (Who cares about the decor if the food is good?) Service has also become poorer over the years. Who needs a liquor license? (BYOB works just fine at the Singapore and other restaurants need to take note.)

I hope others will tell Mrs. R what's up -- she needs to know, especially from long time customers. Her website has no feedback. How remiss is that? That should...

New low for me here, should have gone for some authentic egg rolls from Jack in the box instead. Drink order took 15 minutes longer than other tables that arrived after us. Water takes a while to process, I get it. Appetizer (veggie pan cake) showed up about 10 minutes past well done and landing in the burnt category with some hints of charcoal briquettes. 3 meal orders were made, Pho was tasteless with none of the accoutrements that come with any Pho anywhere, oh and even missing the staples like flavor, bean sprouts, cilantro and flavor. Oh sorry. Cilantro lovers dish showed up with no rice which yes is part of the order, waitress at that point let me know there wasn’t any rice for “our” order, it was allocated for other tables per the manager/cook. She did go back to the kitchen and came back to tell me that I could get some rice, and brought me a half bowl of rice which they had to take skim from someone else’s order. This was because as the waitress mentioned after the fact, they had run out of rice and noodles! At an Asian food restaurant, at 6pm!! But at least what she did bring was enough for couple of bites of my entree. Now my wife’s pad Thai shows up, the safest dish to order in any Thai Restaurant, except this one. No veggies, just noodles, 4 unpeeled shrimp and some sauce that didn’t belong in any self respecting pad Thai. This whole time I can hear behind me the mgr/cook laughing and telling the poor waitress nonsense, definitely not a managers behavior anywhere I’ve ever been. The waitress was very apologetic and clearly sorry and we felt bad for her, but this entire experience was beyond...

I liked the Thai bowl !. It was plenty of food and enuf tofu in the bowl and the tofu was cooked hard enuf. they gave me a bowl of rice on the side . I liked that . It was too spicy honestly and was a little too sweet .. but otherwise I liked it . Maybe I shouldn't ask for spicy when I eat out . then I brought someone...a guy here , and they put way too much sauce in his bowl and he also didn't like the taste of the food . . I didn't like mine either, this time . I got the mi goreng and it was 99 percent noodles(very oily noodles )and 1 percent other ingredients . he wouldn't eat his bowl . He didn't like it and I didn't like the super oily noodles . waste of $ . oh and 1 day I went in there and ordered spring rolls thinking they would be vegetarian because spring rolls are always vegetarian everywhere else that has spring rolls because egg rolls usually are made with pork or some other meat . The spring rolls are not vegetarian and I thought they would be ,so I was super confused by that . they were not tasty and the sauce for the spring rolls was watery . I didn't think the soup was anything special either but you might like one of their soups . I only tried 1 . the menu print is good for visually impaired people but at the same time it also it gives no description for the...
