We usually have a good time in the small dog park. However, had an unfortunate encounter with some horrible person who kept telling us that our dog is "large", harassing us, basically trying to make us leave the park.

Our dog is 30 lbs and a playful pup that chased her dog for 30 seconds. I immediately stopped it, doing my part and thinking that another owner might be uncomfortable with this level of playfulness. One of this dog's owners came up to us, trying to make us leave. When we refused to leave the park, she became increasingly hostile, gave us the middle finger 5 times, was aggressively posturing at us, and then also called the police on us. The police came and left without even talking to us, knowing that her complaint is complete bogus. Not only is this incidence infuriating, it is also a complete abuse of tax payer resource. Lady, are you going to call the police any time your dog is chased in the park? Maybe staying home is your best option, maybe you need to stop interacting and terrorizing others, because you clearly have shown no capacity to behave yourself in public. This neighborhood's people are indeed...

Awesome community park. I am definitely surprised at how calm it was during the times we visited (2pm-3pm on a Wednesday). Really looking forward to try their hiking and biking trails during the evening. I will post photos soon but wow, this park has everything. It's clean, decent sized parking areas, splash pad with several covered picnic areas, free sunscreen dispensers, 2 separate play areas, a skate park, hiking & biking trails, restrooms, rec center, dog area, baseball field and astounding views of the west side. I wonder if they would allow quads and dirt bikes near the hiking areas? If so, then it would be perfect. As for those lazy individuals who complain the parking is "too far" from the recreational areas, that's complete and total nonsense. Solid 5 stars, very pleased with...

I was driving by on my way to the far West Michaels and had brought my dog along for the long drive. I remembered that we were going to be driving right past the dog park so we stopped for her to play a little. They've made a lot of improvements to this dog park, it's quite lovely. Plus with all the rain it's very green. They had recently cut the grass and the whole Park smelled like fresh cut grass. They moved the fence line to incorporate some natural landscaping which provides shade for the bench and the dogs. All in all it was very pleasant. Wish we had a nice dog park like this near Central. We have a tiny one in central with no shade. It's very nicely put together, but the absence of shade makes it not nearly as usable...

This place is really big and has a lot to offer to kids, teenagers and adults. Water park, skate park, trails empty spaces to play soccer, space to play baseball , jogging, walking ect. It has park for little kids to play. Has portable restroom. Looks clean. It also has dog park. Overall it's a great place to have great time with family and friends

I walk my dogs here regularly. I love the feel of it. It feels like a family, neighborhood kind of place. Kids having fun, older people like me walking in different areas, people eating at the picnic tables. I'm going to move away in a few months and I'll take my memories of the Westside park with me for years to come.
