I was deeply disappointed in the lack of customer care this morning at Jamba Juice on Resler. Iāve spoken to the owners, on occasion, and thought them to care about their customers. I must have been wrong, because I was shocked that the drive thru service is manned by an unmasked employee who defiantly told me she chose to not wear a mask despite having the responsibility to care for customers because she was not required to at work. How very sad, because I thought a brand like Jamba Juice would support a healthy lifestyle (including caring for the high risk patrons that whose only recourse is to use the drive thru).
In the midst of the worst uptake of the pandemic, this locally owned franchise has made the decision to point a loaded gun at their high risk and immune compromised patrons. As a vaxxed, double masked person who can only use drive thru or carry out - I will be forced to take my business elsewhere - to a company that cares about not spreading what is a deadly disease for some. My family and I recently caught Covid, despite taking very precaution. Now Iām faced with the reality that even a brief moment at a drive thru is what got us sick. I spent an hour after forcing myself to throw up while having panic attacks because Iāve been a vegetarian for years as part of my religion. Also the drinks have been ālazyā recently with them not being blended all the way. To top it off, one specific worker made very rude comments to my bf and I.
Update: after the owner called me, she told me I was psychotic and to āget helpā. She was bring up my mental health issues over and over trying to use them against me. She said I was banned from the store which legally is impossible over a review and when I explained that she threatened to file a restraining order which she also can not do legally. She went as far as to ask my boyfriend if he really wants to spend his life with me because of my mental health problems and asked him to break up. This is so unprofessional. Mind you weāve gone to this exact location 2 weeks prior and had quite a different experience. To start off the young ladies working seemed to be absolutely clueless on what they had to do, the store itself was incredibly dirty from the customers POV, and the 24 minute wait for 10 mini dogs 1 cup of nuggets and 3 smoothies was a bit upsetting. I am not leaving this a 1 star mainly due to the young man who came in and helped us with our order after waiting 20 minutes with not even a āIām sorry for the inconvenienceā.
