Never thought I'd be writing a review about a jungle gym....but hey there's a first time for everything lol
This park's jungle gym is different from other jungle gyms in other public parks!! So many different things for your kid to do and explore at this park. Lots of climbing, fun swings and slides, musical interactions, nooks and crannies to crawl through. The castle theme is super fun and cute. It's definitely due for some paint, but for it being made in 2004 I'm pleasantly surprised!! The material it's like a heavy duty plastic, it's made to look like wood but it isn't! The only wood at this jungle gym is the wood chips on the floor to step in. The gym is super durable and well made. Its design is well thought through, and obviously made for kids imagination and curiosity in mind. My 18 month old loved this jungle gym. I wish we didn't live so far from this park, but it's definitely one of our favorites in El Paso. When we're exploring the Westside we definitely will stop by ❤️ Highly recommend for parents park hunting for...
Read moreMy kids really like this park, always have. I would have loved it as a child myself. There is so much to do here, it's a wonderland for the imagination! A plus is, they've added a much needed port-o-potty! The bathroom issue has long been a problem which is why the largest tower here smells of years and layers of urine. Please advise your children to not play in it, nor the underneath. The other downfall is that there isn't much light for the evening park go-ers. This is a safety issue as there are many places for someone to hide. Another plus, is there are stores and restaurants in the area now! Many of which are within walking distance to the park. Just note that you'll have to cross Doniphan to get...
Read moreLove this 90s era park! This park sent me straight back to my childhood with the wood inspired castles, tire swings, bouncing mat catwalks, fireman poles, balance bars and the things that made parks great in my childhood. Instead of wood, it’s actually a composite material at this one so no splitters which is big improvement from the 90s design. There are lots of swing options and a toddler play area. Best park in El Paso in my opinion. Only thing that could make it better is cover over with swings and slides and a bathroom (only port a potty...
