Today was my family and I’s first time trying this place out. I got a salted caramel cold foam latte that came out pretty quick and was delicious! My parents got two regular drip coffees with half and half, and we also ordered a muffin and a bagel with no tomato’s or green chiles. The girl ended up taking off the muffin so we had to re check out to get it. That didn’t bother us too much but definitely wasn’t feeling off to a great start. While one drink came out quick, we began to notice how everyone behind us had started getting their coffees before my parents. We waited awhile before I made a comment out loud like “they’re not working on it” when someone finally asked if we were waiting on something. They did quickly start working on it but we didn’t appreciate it taking them awhile to acknowledge. And lastly, as I was finally getting ready to open my bagel sandwich I saw tomato’s written all over it!! We were already a bit annoyed so we didn’t feel like correcting them and we went on with our day. We are from out of town anyways but if we weren’t, definitely wouldn’t want to...
Read moreSo I was in the area, looking at a few yard tchotchkes with my better half. I don’t really dig super huge coffee drink productions. I just really appreciate the taste of high-quality coffee, but I drink lattes now. Slightly less acidic. Saw this little boutique coffee joint and we thought we’d give it a try. I got my usual, and wow. Just really really awful tasting stale coffee. I don’t know if the espresso shot they used, came from stale beans or what. I’m glad the steamed milk was there to dilute it. But yeah…conjures to mind day-old coffee sitting on some 70s office Mr.-Coffee maker Warmed in the microwave. Super not impressed. Like really really not impressed. I actually went to McDonald’s to grab a latte after this and it was infinitely better. Really really too bad too. We very much like the idea of supporting local small businesses. But totally not gonna throw money at someplace based on that fact alone, that can’t make a...
Read more2Ten is a place that always looks super trendy and is a great place to study relative to pretty much any other coffee shop in El Paso, but I would not recommend eating there.
Two years ago, the food used to be so much better, but since last year it has gone way down. I also really, really would not recommend any of the easy drinks like Cold Brew, Americano, or plain drip coffee. Apart from that, the more premium drinks are definitely way better than anything that Starbucks, Dutch Bros, Kaffa, or Kinley (near UTEP) could ever dream of making. This is THE coffee place.
Bathrooms are always clean, staff is great, and the music is not blaring for once (I genuinely don't know why every other coffee place in El Paso does this)
It's worth mentioning how nice the nearby areas are to walk around in; a great time would be ordering a coffee to takeout and visit nearby mom and pop shop's; that or ordering in and...
