It was awful to say the least. I had gotten an eye exam at different Optometrist, which I was very happy with. Went to Vision works for frames and lenses because I had received a coupon. After three to four days of waiting for my glasses I received call they were ready. Went there got my glasses was just asked to try them on not sure if they are required to do an exam to see if are able to see properly? I wore them every day for a week while waiting for my new job to begin. When I did start new job which requires seeing paperwork work and lots of computer screen time I relized I was able to see anything. So when I was able to go back to vision work to explain what was going on they told me I had to go back to Optometrist and have them Re-examine again because Clearly it had to be there fault. So I did and got the same results I Initially had received. The Optometrist read my glasses in machine and said they were a Call decimal off. So I proceeded to go back to Visionworks to let them know and was told by the manager that not all machines read the same. I had a note from The optometrist If there was any questions to call him they refused. After 30 minutes of talking to three different people Luna who works at the Elizabethtown Visionworks told me they will fix them but It wouldn’t make a difference they would be the same. Which I’m assuming she meant I wouldn’t be able to see still. After leaving frustrated I realized my initial visit there they transferred my Initial lens prescription into a computer. After leaving there extremely frustrated I realized I had the prescription in my wallet so I called the manager back and asked her to read it to me and she did. After reading it to me I realize they had entered the wrong lens prescription and so did she. I guess what was very upsetting to me was that it took me the client who has no experience in eyewear to figure out that they had gotten the wrong person lens prescription. I will never return thereBecause of the attitude I got from Luna. I Understanding in human error and totally would have been fine with it if they would have tried to figure out if it had anything to do with them. But they didn’t even try to figure it out they just said they would remake them with what they had, which meant I was going to get the same thing I wasn’t able to see with. I hate to complain publicly but I also tried to do it through corporate office and...

I went to this facility yesterday to pick up my contacts. I had just gotten off of work myself in Louisville, rushed to the store and arrived at 5:07. My error, I thought they closed at 5:30 on Sundays but closed at 5. I am without contacts because I have had little time to get there and pick them up and wearing glasses with my old Rx. When I walked to the door to verify store hours, to my surprise, the door opened right up and a smiling face said come on in! As I walked to the counter a woman asked if she could help me. I told her my name and that I needed to pick up contacts. She immediately huffed, and loudly/rudely stated, you're not who we were waiting for, sorry we're closed. Our computers are shut down and we can't access accounts. There were several staff members still there and everyone could hear because she was very rude and CLEARLY just wanted me to be out of her sight. I said, well I have already paid for them so you shouldn't have to cash me out. She huffed again looked at a lady at the next counter and said ugh, can you help her. I walked toward the lady she indicated, and with every step I felt more embarrassed and my face getting very red and hot. When I walked to the second counter they didn't make eye contact or speak because I was, at this point, just a complete burden and everyone seemed put out that I was there. As she walked to the back room, I decided I no longer needed the product from this facility and walked away. Saying never mind, you can keep them. The RUDE lady then stated, ma'am she's getting them for you. I said no thanks, I'm good and I left before I suffered anymore rude behavior. I am calling today to request that my contacts be returned, my account be refunded and a prescription be sent to me so I can take my business elsewhere from here on and will not return, or any of my family. I have never been treated so rudely by someone in customer service with such incompetence in her position. She is definitely in the wrong line of work. And shame on the other employees for letting her...
Read moreDr. Dale explained everything. It felt as if he wanted me to truly understand what was happening with my vision. I was very confident that I could trust his decisions with my eye care. Much to my dismay I have to edit this review after picking up my primary pair of glasses that were ready early. I still had sunglasses and my husband had 2 pair to pick up on schedule in 3 days. Rebecca was the tech to adjust and fit them for me. I want to note that my friend Cindy and Dr Dale were not working on Friday July 30th. Not only was this 20ish girl not only rude but just had disgusting behavior. I couldn't even wear these home. Not because the prescription was bad but because they were crooked and I was looking through my lens and the top of my bifocals. I ask her to adjust nose pieces. She did nothing unless I ask for her to fix something. If I knew how to adjust my own glasses I would have they be mailed to me! She informed me I had to wear them for a week before they could do anything different. She shared personal information about one of the Drs that I didn't ask for and that she had been threatened in the store before. I assured her I was not being threatening and I would in no way harm her. She then said it was the daughter of a customer that wanted her to step outside. Image that! I could and would not have come to her aid. I've been wearing glasses and or contacts for over 50 years and have never experienced anything like this where I had just contributed over a $1000.00 with cash and insurance to anyone who would allow an employee to behave this way. I realize every business is having issues getting help. The old saying that "bad help is better than no help" does not apply here. When we returned to get the remaining 3 pair, I informed receptionist why we were there and that Rebecca WOULD NOT be assisting us, we were there to see Cindy. She adjusted all 4 pair, listened to my complaint and had us out of there in less than 20 minutes. We were completely satisfied. If not for Dr Dale and Cynthia I wouldn't return. You are very fortunate to have...
