Five Guys — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

We have eaten here multiple times, usually in the evenings. Our burgers are always cold, cheese never melted on the burger or grilled cheese. The restaurant is dirty with a lot of young adult, employees talking, or avoiding work. The person taking our order was professional & greeted us. She also ended up preparing for with at least 4 other employees there. The last time we were in, an employee was sleeping at one of the booths. The young man that was supposed to be cleaning was running through the restaurant in a hurry and doing a horrible job. We typically love five guys, but this location doesn't compare to the locations we have eaten at in food, service, or atmosphere. I hate how unclean this location is...

My family are huge fans of Five Guys. We usually have to make a special trip to Louisville for the treat. When we found out they were building one in Elizabethtown we were ecstatic. I could tell no difference between the two locations other than the fact that Elizabethtown is not filling the bags all the way with fries like is Five Guys normal trademark. My husband however said that he could definitely notice a difference in the taste of the burgers with Elizabethtown being not as good. As usual Five Guys is on the expensive side we paid $45 for two little burgers two small fries three drinks and a grilled cheese. i’m sorry but i need to get this out there. i went in today excited to get a good burger, placed my order (one PLAIN hamburger and a large fry) and sat down to wait (i was order 3). im sitting here 6 ft away from the counter on my phone but waiting and listening.. 40 minutes. i finally go up and ask- they say someone took my food, but they never called my number, so they must’ve handed it to someone standing there who just claimed it was theirs. honestly i’m just disappointed- i was sitting there STARING for the later 20 minutes and clearly waiting and nobody said anything. maybe they need to start checking receipt numbers? i don’t know, but i do know that i won’t be returning to...
