Flowers Plus of Elk River — Attraction in Elk River

Ordered a "premium" peace lily arrangement for my wife on the anniversary of her mother's passing, since those were the flowers they had at the funeral and her mother liked them. What arrived was a big green plant, no blooms at all. You would have no idea it was a peace lily without being told.

Called the shop to say what I ordered and what the picture on the website shows vs what I received and was told "we can't guarantee blooms". Thank god I didn't order roses, could have just been rose leaves. The website shouldn't show blooms if you cannot deliver blooms, kind of defeats the purpose of paying $80 to get a green fern. Or if you have none with blooms, possibly contact the customer to let them know and see if they would like to substitute something that is blooming or has blooms available.

In the 30+ times I have ordered flowers over the years, I have never had a company say "we can't guarantee blooms" on a plant sold for the blooms, but then again we have never had a plant delivered without blooms. Tried to go local to help support small business, but this was a mistake, and...

The shop was very nice and I liked the feel as it made me feel comfortable. The shop was clean and well lit. The flowers in the shop looked very healthy. I went in on a Saturday and as I am out of state and this was a last minute trip I had not been able to make an appointment. I mainly wanted to get a look at the shop and get a ballpark for prices. The older of the 2 ladies made me and my fiance feel unwelcome and basically told us to come back with an appointment. The younger girl who was very busy with another order in the back did answer some of our questions. We made an appointment however cancelled as we also went to a few other shops and they were much friendlier and willing to work with us to answer some basic questions. I gave them a 4 as the shop was nice and the flowers looked great but we felt unwelcome and a little like they just wanted us out. Very happy with Flowers Plus! I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law and she wasn’t home when the flowers were delivered. The delivery guy went above and beyond and stopped by her house a second time when she was home. She called us delighted. Her flowers are more beautiful than we expected and the delivery guy made everything so much more special by coming back on his own to make sure she would get her flowers and chocolates without her chocolates melting which would have happened if he just left them at the door.
