We have gone to this location multiple times. 9 out 10 times it's good. The last time we went, the service was off. We ordered food for two adults and two kids. We were told the boenless wings were buy one get one and that our free wings coupon would cover the first set (essentially making the wings free). I was surprised and even double-checked with our server that i understood correctly. She confirmed. My food came out first with cold fries. They replaced the fries. Husband and kids' food still not out. I kept feeding them my fries because I felt bad. Then my husband's food arrives. We had both completely finished our meals, and our kids still didn't have their food. I asked the waitress, and she told me the food comes out as it's prepped... don't you prep a tables food together so they eat at the same time? So, I asked to speak to her manager. He says he'll get my kids food right away. About 5 min later their food is at the table. Then, the bill comes. They didn't discount or comp the kids' meals and charged for the "free" wing on top of redeeming the coupon. Long story short, this was a bad experience. The manager finally agreed to comp the kids' meals and remove the wings charge, but it wasn't like he wanted to. He didn't apologize for the inconvenience or even seem like he cared. We will likely go back, but maybe not...
Read moreOn Saturday, February 15th, 2020, my wife and I with our son went to the Elk River, Minnesota Buffalo Wild Wings. This is the second time I've been to this restaurant since, I've moved to Elk River. Both times, have been a bad experience for us. For me, the first time, the boneless wings were over cooked to the point that the crust was a very dark color and were very hard. Now this time, my wife's boneless wings were ok looking but, tasted like burnt wood. My wife used to smoke many years ago and in her own words she said, they tasted like when you don't finish a cigarette and light it back up. I've never smoked but, sounds horrible. My boneless wings, tasted like something was seriously burnt and again, they looked very dark but, was at least chewable this time. I'm sorry but, the Elk River Buffalo Wild Wings will never get any more of my business. The fact is, I've been to many Buffalo Wild Wings and I've never had this type of food delivered to me. My brothers and I, would stay for the UFC fights, mainly in Champlin, Minnesota. I do have to say that our waitress Izzy, was awesome, very polite, and understanding. Our son, has autism and was a little obsessive in telling her what he wanted. Even though, we told her we didn't want ice in our pop but, so corrected...
Read moreWent with a Party of 4 on the weekend. We were seated right away - drink orders were taken right away - and or meal orders also taken pretty quickly. The main issue - for whatever reason - is that 3 orders came out pretty quickly but it was maybe another 10 minutes or so before the 4th one came out. I would chalk this up to maybe an isolated issue but this has happened ALL THREE TIMES that there were 4 of us dining. Needless to say, three of the people were finishing up by the time the order came out for the 4th person. We were in no real hurry but its just weird for 3 people to be eating while the other stares into space and vice-versa. As for the food itself - we were 50/50. A salad that was ordered didn't have much taste and an order of wings had a 'soapy' aftertaste to them. I don't know if this was due to how the trays are cleaned or if something else happened but this was the case one other time here as well. As we were waiting to pay, we saw to people - that were seated not long after us - leaving saying to take their menus as once they were seated - the were forgotten about. It wasn't overly busy and there were 3 waitresses standing at the check-in podium chatting when they left. I want to like this place but there has always been some...
