I love going to this park, so much to do and great place to visit. You can walk around and see a wonderful views of a waterfall, nature at its prime, historic sights, an more. It has a playground for all ages of kids, great places to have birthday parties or cookouts, you can play tennis or basket ball, go swimming, workout, listen to live music at times, and the best firework shows anywhere near by on the fourth of July.. Read moreIts fantastic that this small city park in the foothills stocks a creek with trout. That's pretty out of the ordinary and we saw at least a half dozen anglers out enjoying the creek. Aside from this, the walking paths and landscaping are clean and well planned, the signage is clear with lots of historical references, and there are plenty of fields for various sports events. A few wide open spaces are available too - we saw a group playing ultimate frisbee. Lots of spaces to picnic...

There is a working water pump in the grassy overflow parking area across from tennis courts, located in the center portion near tree cover. This came in handy after rainfall when grassy area of the Park gets muddy.
Recommend wearing water shoes or sandals within a day or two of rainfall if walking in the grassy areas. Shoes will sink into unseen...
