Fruition Bar in Downtown Elkin, NC: A Disastrous Experience
I recently visited Fruition Bar in downtown Elkin, and I must say it was a complete disaster. Let me share my unfortunate experience with you.
Owner Amanda's Attitude: From the moment I walked in, I could sense the negative energy. Amanda, the owner, had a terrible attitude. She seemed disinterested and downright rude. It's as if she resented every customer who dared to step foot into her establishment.
Inebriated Staff: The bar staff, under Amanda's watchful eye, were allowed to drink while working. This led to a chaotic scene. They stumbled around, slurring their words, and had no idea what was happening. Trying to get a drink was like navigating a minefield. You'd think they were competing in a "Who Can Be the Most Wasted" contest.
Unpredictable Opening Hours: Fruition's opening hours are a mystery. It's like playing a game of chance. Will the bar be open today? Who knows! It all depends on Amanda's mood. Maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed, or perhaps she drew inspiration from a Magic 8-Ball. Either way, patrons are left guessing.
Amanda's Double Life: Imagine my shock when I discovered Amanda at a different bar down the street—completely sloshed. There she was, dancing on the counter, drink in hand, oblivious to the chaos back at Fruition. It's like she has a secret life as a professional party crasher.
In summary, Fruition Bar is a place of confusion, intoxication, and owner-induced chaos. If you're looking for a consistent experience, steer clear. And if you happen to spot Amanda at another bar, just know that Fruition is probably closed for...
Read moreWe toured many breweries and wineries then decided to end our night at Fruition. The 4 of us love a good cocktail and I told everyone I had a good feeling about this place. Good turned into FANTASTIC. We each ordered a cocktail and Amanda sat and talked with us for a bit. At first we didn’t know she was owner. She was highly passionate about each cocktail. I loved her honesty, knowledge about spirits and her overall personality. She’s a good human and treated us like locals. We also made friends with some of the locals. Melinda and David were hilarious and kind. We stayed in the bar area but they have a room with a pool table and an outside patio. We ended up ordering around 12 cocktails total. The Wu Tang Tini and Gin Sour was a favorite. She made a few that weren’t on the menu that were innovative and delicious. A for ambience, A for creativity, A for a balanced, flavorful cocktail, A for wonderful service. I can’t wait to plan...
Read moreHorrible place. It will probably under soon enough. Owner had a massive attitude and clearly loves being a "big fish" in a small pond. She's was sooo cool she even had a temper tantrum. Big eavesdropper too. Was told about a road block that didn't exist. A shame bc I would have made this a new haunt and spent a lot more money, heck was even gonna bring my band to play here and liven up this drab town. Even thought I made a new friend in the owner, silly me......She allowed her employees to get wasted on the clock when I was there. Heck this bar isn't even open after 11 and is only open 4 days a week. If I could I would post the same review everyday for a lifetime, lol. Don't go here unless you want to feel like you're an outcast. There are other reviews as well decribing the atmosphere and the owner. A joke! Winston is only 30 mins away if you...
